@93 I saw that they use that screen technology for the backgrounds like in Mandalorian, so maybe that made it extra hard to predict how they were going to look in different scenes. Still, Katara and Sokka are some of the very few brown heroes in pop culture, they should've cared to make them be extra brown to compensate for lighting with darker make-up. Especially Sokka is way too white. The fact that they didn't just show they didn't care, and honestly, as a brown person myself, it was constantly in the back of my mind making me feel a little sad, even though I love everything else about the show.
