Carol was the best lesbian movie I have ever watched. The chemistry between the two women is palpable and genuine. Both are stunning women too. I completely shipped them from day one. They were definitely made for each other.

I live in new york so thankfully they showed here only in like 2 theaters for indie films tho, it should be shown everywhere

@SourStrawberrys9 жыл бұрын
+Elaine Lotcpeich No, when they give a N.A. release date it should be for ALL or MOST of the places in at least the U.S. Why the hell do they think we give a crap about release dates in 4 theaters in 2 states? Keep that date only in the two states it will be showing on those date; the rest of the world don't care.
@SourStrawberrys9 жыл бұрын
+Pame Navarro QoS It will be shown everywhere. But I think the date is being pushed back because they are trying to win some award. The dumbass should have giving nov 20th release date for limited theatres. If you are only releasing in two states for the moment than they shouldn't even bother mention that useless information.

I’ve been a Lesbian since age 11 and now at age 67 it hasn’t got better or easier but now I don’t give a flip if someone “knows”. Like it or me it doesn’t mean I get my feelings hurt and I’d venture I could give back a few nasty licks if it came down to it getting physical. I look at women and think the same all those years ago, the luxury version of a human and they smell wunderbar.

+phira360 she didnt have scene to shoot that day, or the interviews for two of them were not the same day, or her clothes are not as comfortable as Rooneys so she changed while they were interviewing Rooney ( ˃᷄˶˶̫˶˂᷅ ) or blah blah blahฅ( ͒ᵕ̳◡ᵕ̳ ͒)。

She is so right. So annoying when lesbians in films/tv shows get killed off or somehow end up with someone of the opposite sex. Like that film that I had high hopes for "The Kids are alright" but instead left us with a highly disappointing unrealistic twist. I had high hopes for it because it was a film like Carol with well know actors. Instead it only catered to the straight audiences instead of educating them about the married lgbt family. Not only did it disappoint but "The kids are alright" made a joke of lesbian relationships. Making a gay woman (who clearly is bi) fall for the opposite sex. It only confuses the ignorant even more. Hopefully Carol will not dispoint and be the film we have finally be waiting for like Rooney said (where we don't die or fall for opposite sex)

+SourStrawberrys I thought I felt the same way too. Looking back this was 180 Degree from Tom Ripley. Patricia Highsmith was very brave to Write a Love Story like that.

It was Claire Morgan. Ann Bannon another Lesbian Pulp Fiction Writer said she loved The Price Of Salt. She and Patricia Highsmith admitted they got letters from women thanking them for making them feel less guilty for their feelings.

+ana martinez Patricia Highsmith's Ex-Girlfriend Mariane Meaker wrote under the name of Vin Packer with the Title Spring Fire, and she also wrote under M.E. Kerr who wrote "Deliver Us From Evie" which as next to "Annie On My Mind" by Nancy Garden one of the First Books about a Teen Lesbian Romance.
