I also used to work with directors as an animation artist and there were a lot of retakes, fixups, etc., the only difference is, our actors are our characters on paper. I heard tell that while they were filming The Conjuring, the guy that played Ed once felt a strange movement in his lower abdomen... shortly followed by a warm sensation flowing past his ass cheeks... then... everyone in the room smelt this appalling stench, like something rotting in a grave. They almost vomited... all of them, except the guy playing Ed, who said he found the smell strangely comforting. Absolutely terrifying.
