Maybe the way his appearance scene was filmed was a kind of stop motion effect. They probably did a take where Javier was filmed at one frame per second. Nonetheless, he is an extraordinary human being.

The Crooked Man was an amazing addition to The Conjuring 2. I’m so glad he’s getting his very own spin-off! James Wan confirmed that there’s going to be a spin-off film in The Conjuring Universe called “The Crooked Man”, and it’s going to be a dark fairytale-type of story. Can’t wait!

The Crooked Man was my favorite part! The way he moved I thought it was some sort of stop motion and puppet but its a real guy omg. He did amazing and I thank him for his performance❤I have a little Crooked Man dude in my car that I fist bump every now and then lol. Yesterday I went to Wet'nWild here in São Paulo, Brazil And every year they do a horror themed event for a month or so, with different themes every year This year, it was about demons and possession... But the thing is... You enter in groups of 6-10 people. I went in there holding hands with my girlfriend, wrongly believing It was a good idea. I went in Full on poker face (cause If don't show signs of fear, the demons lose interest)... Although, my girlfriend, who was 2 feet away from me holding hands was CLEARLY scared and screaming a whole bunch. So my poker face didn't really work, as they would come after her anyway.
