BAE for life!! i grew up racing with Brad, Carol , Shelly and Randy. Back when manual lean out and pneumatic retarders where cool! I got paid in Jolly Ranchers and Tee shirts. Brad always took the time in the pits and the staging lanes to explain EVERYTHING to me about the tune up and his take on what the car was doing. When I turned 16 I took my GED got my license and moved to Indy to work on the first Fuel Funny car to break 300 thanks to Brad. I spent my life burning Nitro and it will never compare to Running NHRA divisions 6 & 7 TA/FC in the 80s and early 90s. Dragsters where even still cool back then with the hemi 4.4 lbs and wedge 4.0 lbs per cubic inch weight break. When Blane with the “Olds” and Rick Santos S&S auto SBC hurt a lot of feelings!

Dude! Did you work for Mike Kloeber?? I am a fan of his and wished he could have worked things out to a better conclusion a few months back with Stringer Motorsports
@dakotaautosales96732 жыл бұрын
@@tripprogers4814 The Stringer motorsports deal was not his fault it doesn't matter who Doug hires he does not have the budget to be able to run with top guys unfortunately. You cannot try to win races and save parts at the same time just a known fact and I hate it for clay

Stevie you remind me so much of one of my best friends Ed Hoover. Back in the day Ed was untouchable he had some bad hot rods over the years as I'm sure you know. I helped him for many many years and we had a blast e every where we went and we were a force to be reckoned with but times changed and if you weren't a millionaire or had a sponsor with deep pockets you couldn't compete but fortunately he had Trussell to fund him but he got older and decided to hang it up but we have been talking sooooooo lol good luck in the future buddy I enjoy watching you especially because you are a local racer !

I can feel the pain... dealt with NHRA in the 80s when we had some new stuff that was working "too well" got a 200lb trophy for running so well.... Some classes, you run just hard enough to win.. but like fuel cars, everything you touch has a rule... Love the channel, you really got the hang of social media in a big way

That 257 mph pass is the fastest I've seen a supercharged car go with the exception of one of the procharged cars that ran a similar number a few years ago. Hopefully I can make it to Charlotte in September and watch y'all run.

Stevie Fast you should start a Prepped Kings series for ONLY 1/4mile racing, in my opinion the NHRA PROMODS are currently the BEST because they run the full 1/4mile & obviously many are afraid BUT I think you are the right person to start a 1/4mile Promodified series outside of NHRA with less stringent rules & it will be for the BEST of the BEST …

Turbos, nitrous, centrifugal, roots, and screw charging. What's fun is the variety. Gearheads like all sorts of car mods not just one, like F1 and their V6/one turbo/midget drivers formula.

10:18 Steve! Isn’t galvanized pipe more susceptible to cracking and breaking due to harmonic vibrations? You might need more pliability and not so much rigid pipe.? Can the air lines be lightweight, black AN? Do you run 110-120 lbs. of CO2 through the lines?

Screw blower for the win
@AWSmith19552 жыл бұрын
Is that a C blower or a D? I crewed on TADs for a number of years in the northeast since the eighties through the "blower wars" , I see Shawn Cowie ran 280 this weekend in Woodburn. Our girl Jackie Fricke is out there #2, I crewed for her when she ran a screw with the late Tom Jones , She's been running injected fuel now with Finke.
