This came at just the right time. We are gutting and remodeling an efficiency apartment we have for guests in my husbands shop. The heater stopped working in a cold snap and we did not realize a pipe had frozen and flooded it, so all the insulation and drywall needs replaced. I did not know they had a special tool to sink the screws to the proper level in the drywall and we will certainly be buying one. I do the drywall finishing after my husband and son hang it and this will make my part easier. Inspired by you, we tore out the make do kitchen area and we are putting in one that will have a sink and all the amenities. We are ripping up the peel and stick flooring we put in years ago and putting in ceramic tile this time. We tore out the old shower stall in the bathroom and we are putting in a smaller size bathtub with a rain shower head and hand held if someone wants to sit in the tub. My son is going to tile the whole area so water will not be an issue if it spills on the floor or walls. I am making a video record of what we do too, so I can look back on it and see the before and after. I love your tips and wish we had watched you before putting the siding up on our house when we remodeled our home. The tool you made for setting the depth on one of your houses would have saved us a lot of time-instead we measured and marked the depth each time which was much slower.

I started doing sheetrock in 1958. Then we nailed it. To do it right with screws get a drywall screw gun. Those bits may work for a while but I' old school. Love what you guys do. Keep it up. Not enough young people know what work is. Stay safe semper fi
@deannamarie4149 Жыл бұрын
Just curious. Does a drywall screw gun have a slower drive?
@steveUSMCpageNOTOLERANCE Жыл бұрын
