This should be one of the simplest tutorials on the planet, but nope- off-screen keystrokes and whispering about "selecting all these" vertexes, and so forth ends up making even this impossible to follow after that point. Why do so many on YT do this same thing? The part my man here is leaving out is that after you select edges/click loop, or select the border, you have to hold SHIFT key while scaling inward. otherwise all your sides just converge. I don't get why they keep skipping steps in these videos.
