Scriabin - Sonata No. 5, Op. 53

Wow. Nothing sophomoric here! I've been somewhat obsessed with this piece for a long time, and I've listened to a great number of recordings, and not only is his playing virtuosic and really, really accurate, the depth of the interpretation is stunning in its clarity. The voicing was so clear I could really hear the overtones no one seems to notice and allow to develop. Truly impressive.
