Man, I just love these type of fanfic stories. Human somehow gets to Equestria, meets a pony, ponies don't know what a human is but the human knows of the ponies which surprises ponies, then a bunch of different and unique events happen that most of the time lead to somebody/pony falling in love with said human or falling in love with some pony else. Its a hilarious concept

Same here my dude. But I have to say that I feel there is definite in taped potential with this kind of story or at least I think there's untapped potential. Someone could have told this story and refined it to a point of brilliance but I just don't know about it yet. It is a kind of version of the classic man out of place story archatype that has been used countless times over the years from gulivurs travels to Alice in wonderland to the yellow submarine to undertale even silent Hill is a variation of this basic plot of a person end up in a sureal and strange land that may reflect on who they are through some means.

ZGuy0fSci The closest thing I can remember to a decent Nightmare Moon story was Past Sins. The last one I remember reading was "Dear Luna", a bittersweet story that Scribbler happened to do a reading of years ago. Still one of my favorites of her readings, actually.

'Twas good. I'm not normally one for human in Equestria stories, but I can't deny the powerful imagery this one uses. I wouldn't say it's exceptionally well-written, but it is very good and the full cast reading really brings that out.

I kinda wish we got an explanation of why Eliot was clanking when he walked. The voice and clanking that sounded like armor, made me mentally picture either Romeo from Halo 3:ODST, or Preston Garvey wearing the blue armor from Dark Souls.

If in this fic's universe, Nightmare Moon was sealed within the Everfree Castle, just what brought twilight and her friends together to become the Element Bearers? Story needs to smell more. Lots of sights and sounds, but not a scent to be had. I think the tension would be better served if the reader wasn't sure of the sincerity of one character. That is, if one PoV is omitted. That way the reader is left guessing if Nightmare Moon is merely manipulating Eliot or if Eliot will abandon Nightmare Moon. Instead, the PoV pingpong that the narration plays eliminates any doubt. For example, when Eliot leaves, we could focus on Nightmare Moon's trepidation over whether he would return and her vacillation between sullenly expecting him to run and hoping he'd return. Instead, we move to Eliot's PoV which assures us of his sincere intention to return. "He brought me back to life." WAKE ME UP, WAKE ME UP INSIDE. "My grin grew bigger as I realized what happened here." Yeah...horsefuckery happened here.
