This is gorgeous. I actually bought all the supplies to give this a go myself. Did the same exact process as you but my water color did not hold right on the cover. Could you help me trouble shoot? I’m not quite sure what I did wrong. God bless.

I just bought this bible and want to watercolor the cover. I actually like the stuff on the spine so I don’t want/need to do the full white paint to cover that up. I’m wondering do I have to do the gesso first to watercolor on the cover? Have you tried just water coloring directly on the cover?

Does the spray mod podge have a sticky finish? When my mod podge Bible touched after curing they ripped apart from each other and I’m scared if they sit on a table too long it’ll take off the paint
