Spent a good while looking for a maker/artist with this level of talent. Spoke with at least 6 well known makers on youtube before finding Loz through Zed Outdoor's video and sent an email on the off chance that his books weren't full for years to come. Sawyer, passed not long ago and was supposed to come on a long hike with myself and my son. The scrimshaw captures him perfectly, can see a small clip of him around this age on my channel and it has the cheeky look in his eyes and cuteness that betrayed his fierceness. Cant sing Loz's praises enough as a knife maker/artist and a lovely lad to deal with. If you are considering a piece form Loz jump on it, there is nobody else around that can do what he is doing for the price and service. Loz's pieces are heirloom quality! Thanks again!

Cracking work Loz and @4:32 *on the linked video* ...It's nice to see that reports of Gary Colemans death were not true as he can clearly be seen "boogying on down" here.

Very impressive Loz!! I cringe at how many times a body encounters the 'make or break moments', during a project. Well done!

Hi. Recently bought a Dale Fisk piece that is a Buck Knife. I like to handle my knives. Would You say the artwork is ‘locked in’ during the inking when produced and won’t rub off from handling. Knife handles are always rubbed in normal handling, but this is a beautiful rendering. It is from 1992 and Buck assembled it and wrote a letter of authenticity, and it is sign Fisk.

You lazer etched the blade, right? That wouldn't work on the scrimshaw?
@LozHarrop4 жыл бұрын
The logo is electro etched through a stencil with salt water that only works on metal, as its artificial heat would melt it i think

I know this is random and you may not even see this BUT when you were flying your rollers out of your Kit Boxes, how many did you keep in the box? How many do your kit boxes hold comfortably.
@LozHarrop4 жыл бұрын
Back then The boxes held 20 birds and i would just fly one box at a time, got around 19 birds in total now and only fly now and then. Just open the door and let the keen ones out only around 8 want to fly usually.
@dewaynegibson4674 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I am flying homing pigeons of boxes built similar to yours. Have 10 flying at the moment. Thanks again!
