I've listened to you guys for almost two years. Yesterday I noticed that you seem to be stopping for quotes more than usual. Probably not, but I'm only halfway in and I had to stop. Were the golden plates real ? There has been a few discussions that the golden plates never existed. Which is mind boggling to me that there is so many unbelieving people who also thinks the church is evil.

There are 11 witnesses in the introductory material of the Book of Mormon that testify that the plates were real. Three saw them with an angel and eight handled the plates. Ultimately, each of us will need to ask the Lord if these things are true. As for Jon and I, we testify that they are. We know, as anyone can, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
