Castle is a very heartfelt song by Eminem where he discusses his feelings leading up to his overdose. And people who didn't really follow Eminem's journey be out there trashing something that's so personal and probably meant so much to him. I guess that's why he doesn't want to put out music that deep again for a while. Eminem's discography is like a novel/biography of sorts. You can't read one page in the middle and form an opinion on a book. 🤷‍♀️

The 3rd biggest music KZbin channel 33M (he's gain 11M this year,) with 14B views. 1 of 4 to sell 100M digital singles. That's 4 arenas he's been dominant in. He's the 5th most followed artist on Spotify and has gained 6M this year. Only 22 albums have ever charted for 300+ weeks on the Billboard 200 and no one has more than one except Eminem, who has 3. Curtain Call, TES and Recovery. He headlined 9 Major Festivals this summer including Coachella (with 90K crowds) and sold out stadiums in minutes (obviously scalpers grabbed some). Yeah, I'm a Stan but I also find it fascinating! He's a controversial rapper, that never made warm fuzzy music, but connected with the world. It's 20 yrs later and his appeal is still huge. Kamikaze went #1 in 103 countries and that's after 4 yrs off and a "bad album" (it wasn't). You mentioned Michael and Prince and he really is in that league. It really hits hard if you‘ve ever been in a similar situation worrying you can‘t pay the bills, already are in debt and can‘t even pay it off and it just keeps getting worse and worse. Em really put his heart and soul into this album. That's why he's hurt by the harsh and over the top negative criticism. He overdosed in December of 2007. He released Rivival December of 2017. 10 years after he almost died....everything he does has a meaning...he showed us his hard work and growth and what did the fans and the media do??? 💩 on him. Smh...I'd be pissed too. It's not always about a beat and a hook. He's always had content....

I love hearing you guys stop on emotional lines and say how hard they are. In the game, people always pop off about how hard they are with bars about beefs or money or other things. But I've always thought Revival was dope because this is the realest I've seen Em write. He puts his emotions into these bars and there are so many points in the album where the dude is just baring his soul. And doing that is HARD. I know Revival has some stinkers musically, but Ems bars and flows are still top notch, and I think these songs where he is emotional and real with us the fans, and probably himself for the first time, are so impactful. I get down with Revival and I'm glad you guys can appreciate it.

Another thing about Marshall he never talks about was that he adopted a little girl that was Kim’s with another man when they had been broken up and then Kim’s twin sister was an addict and is dead now and he adopted her baby girl. So he has 3daughters. I had my first at 17 so I know the struggle. He’s 21 now. And I have 2 more and it makes you become a woman or man. Not a selfish person.
