Swath textures look alright but that cut grass texture is very poor.. Easy fix though

Cut field grass is certainly not as green as, say, fresh cut turf grass. But IMHO the cut grass in 25 looks too brown. Likewise for the tedded hay. In general, I think the color of cut crops should pretty closely resemble the uncut crop. Similarly for stubble texture after the crop has been collected. But what bothers me more is that the baled hay suddenly turns green again.

If you mow grass and dump it in the bunker it becomes corn chaff instead of grass chaff. I hope they fix that.

The hay looks awesome. I do wish we could dry grass like we did with seasons in FS19.

100% seasons mod in 19 was WAY better than their poor attempt. They could have made the extras optional for players who wanted the full mod game play. But something is better than nothing I guess. Pity the seasons mod didn't do a new one for fs22. Oh well.

I am looking forward to starting with just a tractor, mower, rest-point and building from scratch. I plan on starting off with the small bank account and do contracting to begin with, should be real fun with how they have opened up the customizable fields and farm construction.👍Thanks Scroft.

I can tell just by the way the cab shutters and jostles in first person that I’m going to enjoy the game once I get it. I’ve heard really good things about the vehicle physics, hoping the bale physics match

I have a feeling the intent behind the worker options “work the headland” and “skip rows” are there so that people can effectively team work fields with AI workers. So, the player works the head land, and every other row while the AI handles the other portion.

much better texture for hay but still, we had with seasons in fs17 that the sun (time) had to dry the grass a bit and than we turned it over, why are we still not seeing this in fs25? almost 10 years and they couldn't implement this simple thing that would really really boost gameplay experience?

I really hoped that with the third person view they put in animated entrance of the vehicles together with manual attach animations. But hopefully later. Together with irrigation of fields. Still looking forward to play the game and really looking forward to oxygendavids map

I Liked the grass texture and the lighter colour for Hay, is it me, that once baled it reverted back to the darker green, and when you placed it in the cow barn it changed back again

It really stands out that you don't use an HDR capable monitor, as the biggest imagery improvement in 25 is it is now HDR compatible. Beyond that I don't see a big improvement over 22. If anything they've had to reel in the the LOD to support the tracks in the mud and HDR. If you could enable HDR ( need the monitor), the dull look will greatly improve.

As a console player, gps is going to be huge for us! The grass and hay texture looks spot on to what it is in real life I think, to me farming simulator should be as realistic as possible, giants have knocked it out of the park with FS25, hats off to them! Roll on the 12th!! Cracking video once again Scroft! Thoroughly enjoying the content you're pumping out!

You saw FSG's video as well did you? Yes it's a bit of a bummer frustratingly there's just as many bad things as there are good things, FS19's skybox being one of them.

@@jonathanmaybury5698 yup. they say that they foucused on graphics and features so thats why there is also a huge lack of machinery. but apart from ground deformation and some other graphical upgrades, im not seeing where else the effort went. perhaps it went towards making the game a construction simulator....

In FS22 I thought it had about six months worth of gameplay in it , this one I'd say is only got 3 months worth of gameplay in it. Thinking back I don't know why I pre-ordered it, you only get a swather, in which I cannot see the point of.

@2:15 Do you Giants partners have to pay full price? I mean no disrespect, but aren't you paid to say that? Its $73 Australian, or Dollery doo's. THats very expensive for some pretty underwhelming 'upgrades' that the modders made really. Giants just slapped it on, but worse. I hope I don't sound rude. Not my intention. Why cant we agree the base games have always been kinda dumb? Its the modders that make this game good.

I think everything looks so good, and the new UI is so nice. I can’t wait for the game to release tomorrow, but unfortunately, it’s only coming out at 1:00 PM Danish time. On a side note, what’s the song that’s playing about 27 minutes into the video? I’d love to add it to my playlist! :)

Great video mate. Amazing to see what has clearly changed. If people can't see the difference and the true changes that have been made...then they need to clearly get their vision checked out. There will always be people that are ignorant but it's night and day difference and some are subtle like texturing but it definitely improves the visual aspects hands down.

nice video Scroft. Have to agree base game giants is a joke some people will save money or only have weekends to play. And having such a lack of starting vehicles, and hardly any build mode. ALL the DLC items from FS22 should be in basegame at a minimum. This new game stuff or modders will fix it / we will release stuff slowly needs to end. If the game was £20 fine im only getting half a game. But if we pay full price give us the full package on release. You dont pay £50 odd pound for GTA 6 when it comes out and only get half the map and 10 missions. Sorry ranting over

Wish they would let us Preload the Game.😒 As someone that grew up haying in the 70's on a family farm, I agree Scroft the textures look much more realistic then the previous game. The ground and field improvements are real nice in my opinion. A Dynamic Beekeeping system would be my 1 Wish I think. As a real life beekeeper I would Love to see Giants to address the lack of Beekeeping in their Games Personally. Maybe someone will come out with some good Mods.

Scroft Hii, I'm a actual farmer in Northern America and South Africa. But to Giants I'm a nobody, Can you maybe reach out to the dev team and request a feature like nutrients N P K so we have a nutrient system in fields not just seed and fertilize. But a more in-depth system of supplements and pH balancing. We don't seed with urea we use NPK blends. Secondly some pests like aphids or worms which you have to spray down with insecticide and a fungus system for fields would be stretching it but it would make arable farming so much more realistic and true to life thank you!

Do you think the game will drop with some Mods tomorrow I have the game on preorder I wouldn't normally do that, but I had Money off, so it only cost me £18 I don't think I would have benefited from whiting at that price plus my code would expire in 3 months. If there aren't any mods out I will just what till there is so no big deal.
