Hey everyone, I've had a thought... removing the fences means if we are playing on a Oxy map with hedges then we can use the hedges as the boundary for the dynamic pasture 😎

Pigs eat grass, they eat everything, thats why its just mud in their pen/pasture. They go berzerk wherever they go.

Them baby animals are so awesome. Love the dynamic pastures. Also that rain on the animal trailer looked amazing. The night sky looks so much better aswell.

Finally! I always thought it was dumb on Giants' part to not have grass grazeable. Your cows would be standing on miles of grass, and would starve. 🙄 I love that it's now realistic, which is what a simulator is meant to be. The new graphics are mind blowing!

I really wish that animals were more interactive. Animal births, sheep sheering, herding, medical treatments etc. are all major events on farms. It feels very passive and limited in FS 25.

Great video scroft. Quick question, once the meadow grass runs out, do you have to move the animals to a new pasture and does the meadow grass grow back?

So to get milk from cows presumably we have to build a barn - do you know if there’s a way to add an open pasture on to a barn, or can we place the barn inside the custom pasture? Scroft, Given that you can take out the fences can you then put in a fence of your own choosing when they come out as mods? and with the fences taken out do the cattle still stay within the same parameters? Or in other words can you take out the fence but still leave the collisions in place?

I wish they would have added male animals in the base game. I feel like that was going to be a given with baby animals. I feel it takes away from the realism aspect, but dynamic pastures are a major plus.

Scroft I'd imagine after deleting fence from pasture , you could use construction menu to place a new fence maybe even a gate

@Scroft yep the placement overlap would stop you probably be best delete all fence and place new fence and gate a few meters wider

Hi thank you for the video, but I think I will wait for mods to come out as there is so much you can not do with FS25, although the graphics are good as you said rain and a few other things, as soon as updates come out it will alter as it did for FS22

what do you do when the meadow is all eaten up... and doesn't seem to regrow... if you have a ton of animals penned up, you'd have to move them and replace a new custom pasture to get more meadow? hopefully that gets changed or modded to be less ridiculous.

Looking forward to starting from scratch and building my Farm my way. So many of the prefab maps are great but most of the farm building layouts are bad. What is the use of Naming the Pastures if it doesn't show up in the Menu? 🐝🐝I wish 🐝Farm🐝 Sim🐝 would show us 🐝Beekeepers🐝 some better 🐝Love🐝 in their games.🐝🐝 Why can't you buy Adult pigs that isn't logical at all and unrealistic. Many times you buy a already bread sow to start with not piglets. Bummer no free range chickens.

So you don’t have to move the animals they just have an unlimited amount of grass.

No the grass will be consumed and the level of the grass will show that. So in winter there will be no grub and you will need to feed them silage or hay or TMR

In real life they would eat stockpiled grass over the winter. Sheep and cattle can easily break snow to access feed and in large parts of the world there is no snow in winter and grass shouldn’t magically disappear in winter.

I want to know why the horses can’t graze. They graze IRL so why did it not have this feature I really hike they fix this cause it should be 40% as well then oats or grain to finish off the 100%

It's less of an improvement once you realize the grass doesn't regrow, even if you move the animals out of the pasture for over a year.
