As a former real life farmer the game is probably the only way to make money farming 😂
@AM_Agro3 күн бұрын
That's per acre. But if you go per year grass silage will win easy. You can harvest it 3x per year. That will make 3x the yell per acre 6400$ x 3 = 19 200$ per acre with no need to seed/plant that area. Grass wins every time 🤣😂
@IceZag3 күн бұрын
It would be great to see a video that shows real gameplay with different crop variables and prices, like how much you can earn from crops that can be harvested multiple times per year on the same field for context
@Lucky-25522 күн бұрын
I wanna say either Driver53 or FarmerCop did a sheet with that calculated for FS22 so i assume its only a matter of time unless someone beats them to it @IceZag
@KuSaKa-ez6pf2 күн бұрын
If you harvest grass 3 times a year then you get 66% of your maximum amount each time. If you harvest it to times then you get 100%. I suggest harvesting it 2 times, cause the teils is similar but you waste less time and repair your vehicles not as often.
@The_Black_Knight3 күн бұрын
If properly calculating, the cost of seed, fertilizer, and herbicide must be subtracted, not to overlook multiple seasonal harvests, or if reseeding is required. What is completely omitted is time based on hourly wages of auto workers. This gives the best baseline, but much more complicated.
@neilharbott83943 күн бұрын
Still grass silage is king, if you're playing seasons, as there's 3 harvests per year. Did I hear that spinach could be harvested twice per year???
@Driver53Gaming3 күн бұрын
@@neilharbott8394 that is true. This video is only looking at a single harvest.
@beaubunch36213 күн бұрын
Spinach is ready to harvest in 2 months, and you can harvest 2 times before replanting. You should be able to do that before red beats are ready and way before sugarcane is.

Honestly, on one hand I’m kind of disappointed that all the same strategies I have used in FS22 can just be transferred over to FS25 Yet on the other hand I’m *SO* thankful that all the same strategies I have used in FS22 can just be transferred over to FS25 😂

That was very helpful thanks. I’d like someone to factor in the cost of machinery. Even if you leased the equipment for some of the root crops it could wipe out your profit on a small field

Who the hell uses acre when the entire game is based on hectares, including the underlying yield per square meter system? “I have to put acre up there because that’s how the spreadsheet works”.
@Driver53Gaming3 сағат бұрын
@Cazineer acre is now an option in game settings. And I was referring to the spreadsheet I made. I cannot have two cells with the same text. So I made one say acre and one hectare.

when it comes to poplar did you plant a full acre (no gaps) or via the working width
@Driver53Gaming3 күн бұрын
@josephstearns8853 I mostly used the XMLs to get this data. I did however test a few of the crops to confirm the values were translating correctly. Poplars was not one of them I tested as it would have taken a significant amount of time.

@ thanks was just seems absurd the cost would be that low especially figuring in the time it takes to plant and harvest it

@@Driver53GamingI started doing the same before I saw your video. But I think your numbers for popular are wrong. Popular turns into woodchip by factor of 3. Woodchip baseprice is 0,32/L. How can the average price of Grass Silage be 15,863 per Hectare and the peak be the same? It’s the same in both places, where the difference between the average and peak is 0: Corn Silage Grass Silage Poplar

@1Uhrlund1 silage has an economy factor of 1.0 which means it doesn't have much if any price variation.

Hey! What you mean by swath?
@USMCArchAngel033 күн бұрын
When you're harvesting with a combine there's an option to turn on/off swathing. Swathing means the combine will chop the stalks of the crop into straw and leave a trail of straw behind that you can pick up. Then you can sell that straw as well.

wtf is a square acre? An acre is already an area dimension so saying square acre makes no sense
@CarolinaReefer7 сағат бұрын
A square acre is a unit of area that represents an acre in the shape of a square. Since one acre is defined as 43,560 square feet, to find the dimensions of a square acre, you can take the square root of this number. One side length is the square root of 43,560, which equates to a little over 208. Therefore, each side of a perfect “square” acre would be approximately 208 feet long. Hope this assists you in understanding the solution to your prior question.

How do you estimate how profitable something is only by selling it. Its amazing how clueless you are. Different crops require different amount of seeds. For example Sugarcane requires the most amount of seeds and its actually expensive to grow. Delete this vid and upgrade your chart properly.

No, I don't want you to tell me. I want to play the game and experience it myself. Why do you online video game guys insist on making spoiler reviews with no awareness of how to properly present a game in a way that allows players to experience the game for themselves? Half the enjoyment of a game is exploring it's possibilities, but online reviewers have zero concern for how they ruin that experience.
