Why do ppl use the same sponge they wash dishes with to also clean the sink afterwards?? Not sanitary 🤢

Cleaning the sink us the very very last thing I clean with the sponge. Then it goes straight into the dishwasher to be cleaned and sanitize. I never clean the sink, then clean dishes...ever

it would be unsanitary if i didn't clean the sink , and well i am not gonna keep 1 whole scruber just for the sink , it would be like keeping different towels for different body parts , and what's the problem? we clean the dishes , wash the sink afterwards and then fully clean the scruber for later use , and i belive the dishes are more dirtier than my sink so take your opinion with you and get cancelled
