Dear I think the gases that are being produced are mainly acidic so either u can use water or NaOH solution in water.

Sir ...in my industry hydrogen release and the hydrogen passed through scrubber... hydrogen is flammable so what is the main importance of scrubber in above system

Dear actually Dry H2 gas if directly discharged to atmosphere is very much flammable.So in scrubber it is being contacted with steam to make it wet and decrease the chances of fire.....when it goes to atmosphere.
