I’m 22 and this is one of my favourite albums of all time! I grew up obsessed with this queen from round the age of 8 and she’ll always have a place in my heart. Every track on this album was hit worthy in my eyes. Not one bad song on the album. Even the cover/shoot is one of my favourite album covers. Everything about this album was 🔥 This is definitely Madonna best album- as well as Like A Virgin album. Still wishing the pre Madonna tracks were released- as their also some of my favourites. Yeah- so many people miss her talent now, sadly. I saw her in concert in 2012 on the MDNA tour and other than what seems like tag alongs I was what felt like the youngest there. 80s was the best era for everything creative also life seemed simpler back then. I wish I was there to see it first hand. Always joked with people that I was born in the wrong era- I’d honestly say, I believe I was. 🙈😂

Here I am again!. I can no describe the happiness every time I hear this song. This song is epic, and it’s been underrated. One of the best grooves and vibes for this time. A masterpiece! Luckily I still have Madonna’s first album in vinyl - got it in the mid 80s - I keep it as one of my precious jewels 💎 Madonna is forever!!! Along with Madonna’s first album, I also keep Like a Virgin, True Blue, Into The Groove (single), Immaculate Collection -Double album - I’m Breathless (Dick Tracy’s soundtrack) all in Vinyl.

I think she should do a World Tour of just the great songs she has NEVER performed before. It seems for some reason she doesn't like some of her earlier songs like Borderline and this one. Maybe because this song came on the heels of Olivia Newton Johns "Lets Get Physical". Thats the only reason I can think of: is that she/critics thought it was trying to cash in on the other song by ONJ.

This has been my favorite song arrangement and mix which is a simplified easy listening remix rather than as included in her eponymous debut album which is a boring long extended album version which included her song line interlude: "You're confusing me, 'cause I don't know if you want me..." This song marks the conclusive original Madonna sound in the early 1980s before embarking to the daring "Like A Virgin" persona. I really missed Madonna when she was younger in those years. This song never goes out of style and flair. No wonder she's still the reigning Queen Of Pop forever..
