I got curious enough to check Dr Cox's German voice, and although I am a bigger fan of the original because that's how I saw it at first, I love how seamless and just as expressive Dr Cox's German voice is. Props to the amazing voice actor for making the voice his own!

That's true. I generally prefer original versions over dubs, but compared to most other shows, the German dub of Scrubs is surprisingly good. For comparison, the German dub of Friends is mind-numbingly awful.
