Yeah, Sarah Chalke was probably the weakest singer out of all of them but she wasn’t bad at all. Well, and Doug, he wasn’t very good lol. That’s why he just gets this one line, I assume.

Of all the cast, only the man playing Cox couldn't dance, hence the jumping rope in "Welcome to Sacred Heart," just to cover up his lack of dancing skills.

I mean congratz to Trump supporters, I guess. Rule of Law is most important so he will be president because everyone respects that; and the system is robust enough that we can probably recover someday even if he really does fall flat on his face. But man, I am going to miss Obama. Also, sorry to everyone else who is sick of hearing about it. I just couldn't resist.

Tbh a year is not really that long. Like... I get that she loves her job and loves going to work and hasn’t not gone to work as a nurse in like idk 12, 13 years, something like that (she’d been working as a nurse for 8 years when she met Turk, I think), but really, one year, the first year of her baby’s life, isn’t that long in the grand scheme of things. If she’d waited a year, she’s still gonna be working for another 25, 30 years after that. It’d go by pretty fast, especially taking care of a baby all day (and night a lot of the time too because Turk may get called in plenty of nights, and it takes a while for babies to start sleeping through the night). Plus, she had pretty bad post-partum depression right after Izzy (I think that’s the right name? It’s been a while) was born, so she should probably take some time to rest and bond with her baby. Tbh she and Turk should both take at least a couple months, there’s maternity/paternity leave and then after however long the hospital gives them for that, have the money to take some time off. And when she gets older, she may regret not taking that time off to spend with her baby. She has the rest of her life to work, but your child is only that she once. All the milestones that happen in the first year - sitting up on their own, crawling, pulling themselves up, first steps, likely first words, etc... - only happen once. She may regret not staying home for the first year of her baby’s life; she can go back to work anytime, but your kids grow up really fast. Again, a year really isn’t that long of a period of time when you’re an adult, and especially taking care of a baby, it’d honestly go by really fast. I don’t even have kids and it feels like a year goes by super fast now that I’m an adult. My sister has two kids, and my niece is starting kindergarten this year, and even to me it feels like she was just an infant not long ago, and she’s not even my kid. And if it seems like she was just a little baby not long ago, it’s crazy that my nephew, her second kid, is just 3 months away from turning 3 already. A year is no time at all to take off work, especially if it would help them out financially like they imply; most parents probably wish they could take a whole year off but can’t afford to. And yeah, I realize this is just a TV show and a comedy at that, so this comment is a bit too serious. I’m just saying like, in general, that if it were real, she’s kinda making a year a bit of a bigger deal than it really is. TLDR: She and Turk should both take a bit of time off at the very beginning, and after that, even though she loves her job and going to work, the rest of a year really isn’t a very long time at all for Carla to stay home before going back to work.
