More fun and games with Scrum. This time it's the turn of the INCREMENT. Enjoy

I really enjoy learning about SCRUM and how to implement it my own business. Thanks for sharing.

This felt right. We use a definition of done that basically says "it's in the world, able to create value". We also have a unique situation where the product owner and the development team are one and the same, so if there is a decision not to release it usually is affecting prioritization prior to development.

That's true for my (one man!) team too!

I think this @1:21 is making a point that what you have done in the past may or may not still be providing relevant value. If the goal post has moved, your previous work may not still be valuable.
@niclin92804 жыл бұрын
I would say the previous work would still be valuable as a reliable experience to contribute the final goal. It means that the goal would be proved to be changed or stayed through continuous adapting based on the inspecting of the previous ways of working and the previous increments, just like the actions pivot and persevere in Lean Startup.

To clarify, if during the part of editing and exporting stage where would a scenario of acknowledgment or crediting another persons work or comments fit in the definition of done discussed?
@Developmentthatpays5 жыл бұрын
@Peter - Think that if (eg) acknowledgement is required (for a SPECIFIC video) it should be obtained.... and it's not "Done" until it is obtained.
@Developmentthatpays5 жыл бұрын
@Vincent - Yes, episode on DoD would be a good idea.

Perhaps if this is a series, you may want to number them to provide a workable process within the viewing of the videos
@Developmentthatpays5 жыл бұрын
For this series (if that's the right word) I wanted people to be able to "pick and mix". But I do take your point: I may do a "mega mix" to tie al, the pieces together.

Is that a french cleat system in the background? 🤔👍
@Developmentthatpays5 жыл бұрын
Oh yes. I'm a huge fan of the french cleat.

@@Developmentthatpays Nice, I have it only in my workshop so far. Didn't consider it for the living space as well. So, thank you for the great info on scrum and even some more inspiration 😊

Wonder how this has now evolved with the 2020 guide, and how the increment can be released multiple times during a sprint

Paused on Increment Value question. I assume, total value points are summed up. But why...?

The play between the team and the business owner is well stated. The explanation about Potentially Releasable Increment is quite good. I am still waiting for your comments about why scrum is not your favorite agile flavor.
