SCS PTC II pro Pactor-3 demonstration HF band

This is a quick demo of the SCS PTC-II pro Pactor-3 radio modem. This device allows the user to send and receive emails from remote locations. Ocean going vessels are often equipped with these, but also with radio hams they are popular. The SCS modems are the best radio modems available in the commercial market, offering phenomenal performance under noisy conditions, where other modems (and sound card modes) fail. Of curse the military has even better modems, but those cost at least 10 times as much and require much wider channel bandwidths meaning they are useless for hams and commercial vessels because those do not comply with FCC regulations.
