You would not lose the data that's currently on the drive, but you would not be able to read or write to the drive.

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH for asking this. I've been studying for this test as well and I thought memorizing the different DVI's was hard enough let alone the 30,000 different SCSI connections.
