Once you know how to enable it in the configuration files, yes. You have to add the following lines to each profile's specific config.cfg: uset g_trailer_stability "0" uset g_truck_stability "0" uset g_suspension_stiffness "0"

@@herzglass Indeed. I drive in VR and a sense of speed is finally present. Acceleration, deceleration and cornering finally are properly conveyed to you as a driver. I only think the steering ratio is still wrong, as I optimized for keyboard/gamepad users.

@@LogiForce86 What exactly do you mean? The steering ratio mainly depends on the wheel you use. With my 900° rotation and an aprox. 45° wheel turning angle I have a ratio of about 20:1 what is the normal maximum for cars. If I had a 180° rotation I'd have a ratio of 4:1. You can alter it over your wheel rotation only by the non-linearity slider, increasing the ratio close to center and lowering it when approaching the maximum steering input. What I'd welcome though, would be a variable-ratio depending on the truck's speed, as trucks normally have it today, making it possible to make more sensitive inputs when fast and direct ones when slow.

I've gone out and bought a direct drive wheel, and found it can turn 2160 degrees... that's three turns each way from centre. (just dont use a flappy-pedal-gearbox-cord, as that will snap at around 1600 degrees of rotation, found that out ;) ) It feels so real now. I actually bought it for simracing, but trucking works just as good! I'd love to try ATS/ETS in VR one of these years ;) (as i'm quite the pixelsnob i'm holding out till version 4-ish) Happy trucking guys! I absolutely love ATS and the idea of the updates but there is one downside about the detours feature. I’ve been playing the open beta and have seen other videos about this too. The main issue that I see with the detours is that there are just not enough roads to easily get around the detour. I was once less than 30 mins away from my destination but then got detoured over 6 hours away. Don’t get me wrong, I love the detours but I think you should add more roads to the game so a short distance trip doesn’t make it an extra 6 hours long. Keep up the good work the latest updates have been fire!

This is so true if seen this just last night went from 2 hours to over 8 hours I what to se more side roads and what I what to se is dirt roads I think this would be a cool add on put them all over I have told everyone that we need lots of roads to fill in the map being on the highway is just boring I have also said we what bigger better citys and towns the game just fills empty more cars would be nice as well so you get stuck in traffic better weather wind storms snow and other things

Dear SCS. Why don't you add to a game cargo delivery to private persons? In this game (ATS) there are a lot of places as farmer grounds where it would be possible to deliver freight. Special places for unloading are not required. It is enough to appear in the territory of a farm. In the choice of orders it is possible to add a mark "private persons" or "individuals"

SCS; I love how you added environment sounds to all of our delivery points. Really adds more realism to the game. You should do that to ETS too! It would be nice to hear the sound of the trailer reefer units when they are running also.

Detours are such a great idea. It may be a great idea but it's one of those details that add to the atmosphere an immersion of the game, it makes the world feel more alive. Looking forward to making these detours in VR (here's hoping VR becomes more optimized in the future.) With the turnpike trailers, it makes me wonder if the next logical game is Australian Truck Simulator with their road trains.

I love this update, the immersion ambient sound is perfect. Only thing to improve is GPS Navigator (add voices and alternative routes like an Real GPS)

It would be great if some detours would have also a detour signage before, in case of road works - and a facility like a "semi-CB" or Traffic Report in the GPS, that would tell about accidents nearby, would be very welcome. Don't mention a joint DLC of Utah and Colorado, or just all Rockies (then it would be nice to implement snow&ice conditions in ATS) - I can't wait to have a drive to Aspen, Denver or Helena.
