This is a national cardiothoracic teaching programme brought to you by Dr Hanad Ahmed on behalf of the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery in Great Britain and Ireland (SCTS) Education and Trainee Committees. It is the first centralised teaching programme specifically targeting foundation doctors. We hope this programme provides you with an insight into the specialty and a grounding in many of the core disease processes and their management at foundation and core training level.
