I never missed SVTV every week when it played in my area. It was on an additional year but it was on a premium cable station. I was in love with this show and never would have dreamed that so many cast members would become national TV stars in a few more years. I think iI taped several episodes using my old Sony Betamax so I would always know that I would have some for future viewing. Never knew that the DVD would be invented in a few years down the line.

2:06 - SCTV was wonderfully warping to a young mind for lines like this. That and blowing stuff up good - blowing it up REAL good! And of course Bob and Doug. Ah hell, the whole cast was frelling awesome! It's one of the shows I'm grateful my parents either didn't realize or didn't care that I was watching. But then we had a copy of Cheech and Chong's Wedding Album in the house too so go figure.
