@@PikesvilleAl No, that was vintage Floyd. After his stroke, he no longer had any speaking parts. Andy was kind enough to allow his friend to continue being part of the show. Notice how in some scenes, all Floyd does is stand in the background. This scene is vintage Eugene Levy now.

@@PikesvilleAl Truth. I don't see the Andy Griffith Show episode airing now, where Floyd was getting in a bad way from his condition and called out 'Bye, Bea!" to end a scene. That always struck me, compared to the somewhat feisty, daft character of the first couple of year in the series. When he's eating a banana on the couch, while Barney is forced to dance with the escaped female prisoners in "O'Malley's cabin" is one of my favorite AGS episodes.

I watched this whole episode back circa 1978, it was an excellent parody of the Godfather but the war was about Ariel's TV versus cable TV. They defeated cable TV in the end. Holly cow! That was 42 years ago!

Um, SNL always leaned left and brutally made fun of every president from Nixon on. And SCTV did a harsh parody on G. Gordan Liddy, a right-wing good who worked for Nixon. They were leaned left too and were never apolitical.
