Hunsfels Diving-The Southwest Diving Experience
The lake in the quarry on the outskirts of Stromberg was created in 2015 after the blasting of a groundwater vein. With depths of up to 54 meters, mostly fantastic visibility of mostly over 10 meters and breathtaking steep walls and rock formations, it is a paradise for every diver. Over the last few years, nature has reclaimed the quarry to some extent, resulting in a variety of different fish and natural underwater flora in the shallow areas.
The Hunsfels is a groundwater lake that was created in 2014 after the blasting of a groundwater vein in the former limestone quarry in Stromberg (Rhineland-Palatinate). Shortly after its creation, the idea of a diving center on the Hunsfels came up, which we were able to put into practice in 2020 and make the lake publicly accessible to divers for the first time.
The lake at Hunsfels offers various dive sites from 3 to 54 meters deep. Thus, there is something for divers of all experience levels and qualifications. With its fantastic steep walls and breathtaking visibility of mostly over 10 meters, the Hunsfels offers an unforgettable diving experience for every diver!
Since then, our still very young dive center has been growing steadily and at a high speed, so that Hunsfels diving has already become one of the most popular places to go for divers.
Our highly motivated team works every day to offer our customers an ideal diving experience. We are particularly proud of the service we offer our customers without exception. This includes Anrödelplätze for each buddy team with Anrödeltisch tables (partly covered as sun and rain protection), pick-up and delivery service for tank fillings, if necessary material transport to the entrance and back and much more!
