My father’s photo, with Mr. Scudiero, was on the wall for many, many years. It was always nice to see that when I stopped in.

I just went to Scudiero's during my vacation in Chicagoland, on July 23, 2022, awesome pizza, nice place, I remember seeing the old Scudiero's sign as I passed by on Lake Street back in the 90's when I visited my godparents and cousins who used to live in Melrose Park. I'm planning to return in December, God willing.

and here I type again on August 5, 2024, yep, went there again, pepperoni pizza and two cans of Mountain Dew, I ❤ Melrose Park, brings back memories. I remember seeing the Come Back Inn Pub that once stood on Lake Street. Long gone now.

I grew up down the block from Scudiero’s. Great breads and great food. They will make you feel at home. I grew up with Tony and Aldo, they are the best. What a great family. Love you guys. From the Lugo family.

Omg, I used to have a crush on you when I was a little girl! My grandma used to send me there weekly to get bread and Italian supplies. Vanessa. Granddaughter of Rose Calvi and Mary Pecora.

Brings back my childhood. I used to live a couple blocks away from the Italian Bakery and my father would give me a couple of coins and send me off to get him his daily Italian bread (you had to get there before noon if you wanted bread). Of course, that was over 40 years ago. Crust you can rap your knuckles on and insides as soft as heaven. I've lived in a few states and I've looked for bread this good. Can't find it. I'm going back there soon just for the bread.
