An important thing to note also is that the 129.99 version does NOT come with the hair triggers like the pro version has. I understand that that can be a deal breaker to a lot of people so I just wanted to point that out.

this makes so much sense now, i have been a strong advicate of elite v2 for over 5 years now its all ive used and ive had 3 of them and rebuilt 2 of them dozens of times, button replacements. but ive alwways noticed extreme delay, i have to hit and spam same button multiple times some times for builds, edits or weapons to even respond to the press. i have blisters from this bs. but when my controler broke last, i put it away and used mouse and key, i SUCK on mouse and key. no muscle memorie to speak of. BUTTT i notivced every button i pressed reacted instantly!!!!! this had me start digging in for whyyyyy. and your video has made this blatantyl clear. crazy how microsfot spent millions to make the "worlds best" controller but skipped out on SOOOOO many areas. looks and feels great. function sub par!! absolute b.s. thank you for this video i was looking at the envision pro. this made the decisiion easy, ill be warantying my v2 in exchange for a scuff envision pro this ttime. thank you!

The controller is supposed to act differently when icue is on. That means you're controlling it by the software. Basically, when you have icue up and running on your system, it's going to default to the saved presets on that software. If you don't have icue that's when it's going to be using the presets that's you baked into the no matter what system you are on. It's like that for a lot of Corsair products.

10/10 for the presentation, it was like you had a PowerPoint on in front of the class. Currently got the instinct, thinking about this or the edge for the snappy input. The instinct and this paddles definitely are the best for the constant slide cancel spamming coming up this year.

I use the Scuf instinct pro it is an amazing controller (when it works) but it is plagued with drift. All of these controller manufacturers use the same distributor for the stick potentiometers. What I did was learn how to solder and fix them myself ebay has plenty of old scufs for parts I save so mich money.

I did not even think about the Best But protection plan. Although, they do have a 12 month warranty, the extra best buy plan would be nice. Unfortunately for me it was sold out at Best Buy so I went through Scuf. Love it so far!

Thanks for sharring your experiance, I actually jumped on KZbin to see if anyone else has the software issues that I've been having. I seriously thought I was going to have to return my unit. The reality is this is a great controller and I've seen other KZbinrs praising this controller but I think you are the first to talk about the cons. Thanks for being honest, I hope SCUF gives us a firmware update to get rid of the profiles note saveing and for some reason when I turn on my PC it will register the product on Icue but the software puts the controller into Eco mode and some of my mapped buttons will not register. For everyone reading this, just know this is a new controller and once they iron out the details, this is what all the demons will be running!

You can use all 4 paddles on the invision pro you just have to put your ring finger on the outer one and middle finger on the inner what. I honestly feel like it was made to be this way cause of the way the inner paddle is designed. I feel like when you use just the middle finger you always hit a paddle on accident. Idk it’s my take and it feels amazing this way

Good review, I was about to pull the trigger until I heard about the software issues. Buggy software that needs to constantly be on for full functionality is an instant deal breaker for any peripheral, I don't know why these companies always force you to keep their bloatware running.

I JUST used my new Envision Pro tonight for the 1st time and yeah... the Software issues were very apparent. VERY apparent. Also...my headphones & mic won't seem to work when plugged into the controller. I Am going to give it a chance because the controller itself is amazing. Just hoping for a Software patch or two. Software is really bad, every time I load it up my triggers don’t register until I randomly switch some settings on them and then put it back to normal. Definitely need an update on the software

So far out of the three controllers I have .. Elite,instinct,dualsense edge .. Dualsense edge so far for me has been awesome.. apex 4-3 linear 0 dead zone very minimal drift .. my elite out of the box acts like a two year old trying to color between the lines .. instinct still has drift half of what the elite does .. I’ll wait later on down the road for the envision till they fix those issues

I tried many premium brand controllers hoping for a blend of the elite and dual sense. It's did not work out. I just returned the SCUF envision pro. I loved it. Excellent build quality. The iCUE software is terrible. There is not a perfect controller. I always end up going back to my dual sense and elite.

You can use this controller on console, you just need to use a device called a Xim which allows you to use other controllers on opposing consoles. The feature is called Controller Crossover.

Great video, did you test the input delays while using wireless? I would love to compare delay against other controllers since this is a key feature some people purchased this for. Have you ever tried AimControllers, these are my fav. I purchased a ps5 scuf when they first dropped but didn't like the feel and resold it.

I’ve got an envision pro on the way, I’m excited to try it out. I 100% agree with you that there is no perfect controller yet. I had a couple old ps4 type 4 paddle scufs and I had so many problems with drift and the triggers getting stuck, and also the paddle placement was aweful. I used the elite 2 for a while and loved the paddles, best of any imo but the delay and stick drift got so bad and I decided to try the victrix gambit for the 500hz polling, plus their only $100 so it’s not too bad to replace, but the build quality is just terrible the the sticks start to feel very unreliable after a few months, I’ve gone through 3 of them in the last year. So I am really hoping the envision will be a good controller. I’m not sure how I’ll feel about the paddles but if I can get used to them and if the stick drift doesn’t come on too strong I think I’ll be happy

@@Hlywdgoon the sticks feel super smooth and precise at 4% dead zone which I’m happy with, I’m 6’8 and have pretty big hands so my biggest problem is controllers being too small, the envision has nice thick grips but it really tapers and thins toward the triggers with I’m not a fan of. I honestly like the paddles, I still like the elite 2 where I can use one paddle for each finger but this is a close second and I think u can get just as fast. Definitely better than the impact scuffs I used to have. I keep having issues with the triggers not working in game and I have to cycle through all of the profiles and then it starts working… overall I give it an 8.5/10

I put the Kontrol freek grips on it and cut up some strips off my old controller to add extra padding under my middle fingers and it feels much more comfortable now. great video thanks, i was a astro c40 guy (i strictly play cod) bought a scuff a few months ago for the instant triggers and the 8000 polling with overclock the controller feels small and not as premium as the astro c40 but im happier with the added speed and latency, havent had stick drift issues, are the envison sticks replaceable thats a first for scuff and prob have some manufacturing issues to work through, good idea about buying on amazon ill wait for them to work out kinks

Dual sense edge is best, mine has no yellowing also you can get controller cover/grip thingys so really it’s a comestic setback. Only thing is a real take away is battery life and mouse click trigger feature as the trigger stops is not the same . Messing around w the trigger haptics you can get the almost same feel.

Not having an ability to change thumbstick modules (or better actually have hall effect thumb sticks) is a deal breaker. No thanks Scuf Envision! I have bought 4 Scufs (3 Reflex, 1 Impact) and all of them had issues very quickly (breaking parts, stick drift, not working as intended out of the box etc.) . The only other pro controller company as unreliable as Scuf is Aim. No more! There is a reason why I bought Dualsense Edge as well. I found the ability to switch thumb stick modules to be a feature that I will need in the future. It is a quite cheap fix considering that other pro controllers require you to buy a whole new controller. I don't recommend Scuf or Aim controllers to anyone because of their bad quality control. Corsair hasn't quaranteed better Scuf quality so I am done with them. Now only if we had Dualsense edge with 4 paddles, that would be great. It was so hard to get used to two paddles again (or extra inputs) having used Razer Raiju, Scuf Impact, Scuf Reflex, Scuf Reflex Pro and Scuf Reflex FPS, several Aim PS4 and PS5 pro controllers with their 4 extra input (paddles/buttons) layouts. It is okay for now but Sony missed the mark here by not having an option for 4 paddles/button/extra inputs.

I'm selling mine to someone that I know. The software is laggy, you have to have the software open and running for all of your mappings to work, and I just cannot get used to the layout. I'm an Xbox player and have been for 10 years now. I just don't wanna take the time to re-learn. Also the software using resources when a game like CoD is already poorly optimized, is really unfortunate.

100% cannot overclock any Xbox controller, I already tested it this month on Elite 2 and standard. The hardware is manufactured to not allow it. It will change in the program but once you run the polling test it’s still 7-8ms.
