Just purchased an instinct pro, previously had a scuf infinity and before that I built my own. Personally I liked the paddles from the prestige. The instinct I am having to retrain my grip because in my opinion the buttons are too low. I do like the tall domed stick came in the box and I didn’t have to buy them. I’ve used evil sticks tall stick forever for the right stick. Personally still prefer the evil stick and think it feels better but I got use to the scuf tall domed.

Small detail on the Elite Series 2 trigger stop, the controller remaps the analog output of the trigger so you still get a full range with its shortest trigger stop. That is better than a simple piece of plastic blocking its movement.

Sorry if you mentioned this and I didn’t catch it, but if you’re using the Instinct Pro with the triggers set to mouse-click mode, is the trigger click equivalent to fully pulling the trigger on a stock controller? My problem with the PowerA Fusion Pro is when I’m playing Warzone with the trigger stops in and I go to drive a vehicle, it’s only like a 50% trigger pull so the car is only moving at half speed.
@UnlimitedProduction12 жыл бұрын

This past September I received my Scuf Instinct controller. It took 5 weeks to get to me and I live near Toronto, Canada. My right thumbstick just broke (December) and refuses to work, I play cod religiously and have never mistreated my controller. It took 3 months to break now I am going to have to deal with at least two months of sending it back then waiting on the return fixed product. If I knew about the Xbox Elite V2 at my local Walmart I would of never spent $300 Canadian on the scuf controller. In my opinion based on my experience it is over priced and you're better off finding the Xbox Elite V2 or just learning Mouse and Keyboard and saving yourselves money and time. Best of luck!

@rynjnwy2 жыл бұрын
I got a Scuf Instinct Pro and Elite Series 2 xbox controller. I got to say, by far, the Elite Series 2 outperforms the Scuf controller. The big negative for me was that when you put the Scuf triggers to the mouse click short pull, it doesn't move at all. That would be great, if I got some kind of physical que for a "hey you pulled the trigger," but no I couldn't feel the trigger pull at all. You might be thinking oh what about the audible click. Yeah not really audible when you get in a game and start hearing explosions and stuff. The click gets drowned out. Or if you wear a over the ear headset like I do half the time, you will never hear it. So, in conclusion, Scuf controller +paddles +working xbox controller +interchangeable batteries and big minus on the trigger short pull. The Elite Series 2 controller just feels quality in your hands unlike the Scuf controller. The Scuf controller feels like just any old xbox controller tbh. So, if you want a better looking slightly, (and I mean slightly) better performance controller, go with Scuf for that big 'ol $200 minimum. But if you want something that actually feels like an upgrade for real, (even just the thumbstick movements feel better) get the Elite Series 2 for $180 full price or $137 on sale (I estimated the Elite Series 2 prices, but they are definitely under $200 for sure and ship WAYYY faster).
@tsoffroad58342 жыл бұрын
I have a elite series 2 and loved it but they don't last and only Have like a 3 month warranty. Face buttons don't register so you basically gotta use the paddles to pick up stuff on cod. I died alot in CQC engagements because I couldn't pick up a gun fast enough. So I just went back to the standard xbox one controller and got the strike pack eliminator for the back buttons and it works well that way.

@@gummybear41283 Hey man I have tried practically every controller on the market from Battle Beaver, Scuf, Elite 2, Evil controller, Aim and Hex gaming I have returned them all except for the Battle Beaver and this Scuf Instinct. I believe that Battle Beaver has the best smart triggers but the downside is that you are stuck with that trigger throughout the lifetime of the controllers. With that being said the Scuf instinct’s paddle design is pretty good not the best but I think the selling point for this controller are those triggers they are amazing and imo one of the best implemented trigger stops to ever be made. You can turn them on off whenever and or mix match if that what you desire overall it gives you options and you get the best of both world’s.
