So I picked up one a day before release... way aweful.. something was wrong with the stick electronically.. so returned it and exchanged it with another one.. and there was another problem with the stick... and def feels cheap.. all plastics cheap and are loose.. so I bought regular ps4 controller

I preordered one and it came in the mail last week. At first it was buggy. A couple of the buttons werent acting right and the left stick was doing its own thing sometimes. I pressed the manual reset button and did the manual reset on the sticks and Ive literally have not had any issues since. I absolutely love the vantage. Its just a matter of experimenting with the custom button mapping, trigger stops, and trigger tension to fit your personal preferance and the game you are playing. After playing for a few days with no technical issues. Ive already notice a considerable improvement im my competetive FPS play. Im really deep into Destiny 2 and I definitely do not regret buying one of these bad boys. Once i got used to pressing buttons which werent there before then its been better. Even more so once I adjusted to the sensetivity and accuracy of the right stick. Im lining up all my headshots without having to make any micro adjustments. I can snap from one target to the next and hit those critical spots with ease and speed. If youre not a competetive player then you really dont need a controller like this. But for someone who plays a game like Destiny 2 or CoD/Battlefield religiously like I do, its definitely nothing to sneeze at.

Hands down the best controller ive ever owned. When playing fortnite I map the right sax button as circle and the right paddle as x button. It feels so natural. I went from winning once a day to about 5 times a day playing casually.

Obviously none of you all have been to the Scuf website and seen the pricing of their gaming controllers. Comparing this to Microsoft’s elite overpriced controller is not the same. Sony gave Scuf the green light to make a Pro controller and backed them doing it. Scuf exclusively made Xbox controllers for several years now and Microsoft decided to make their version of a pro controller in the elite 4 years ago. I'm a hardcore cod player I'm significantly better with this controller. He didn't mention Wired mode especially it has no input lag it's insane how real time I shoot and manuever. Grip is great. Paddles are much more comfortable. Sax buttons can be removed if you have baby hands. Customization is freaking EZ. It's a great controller 8.5/10

I tried both the Nacon and the Razer premium controllers but ended up returning both since the stock PS4 controller is simply the best. I guess if you have larger hands it might be a better solution but the DS4 is one of the best controller of all time. Next to the 360 and the GC

The MOST important aspect is that it’s thumbstick & button placement/configuration. XB1 style!! Yay!! I have & play on BOTH PS4 Pro and XB1 X. I have large hands and have always hated the PS4 config. and how my thumbs run into/bump each other. Now I’m ecstatic about having the same controller format for BOTH consoles.

@@consolegamer8871 unfortunately is not yet but it is still way better than any other controller(for me). You can remap any button, change the sticks and triggers sensitivity any many other things. There are 8 different profiles for ps4 that you can switch between any time you want. Plus I like that the sticks are positioned like on a Xbox controller and the triggers are a bit bigger and curved.

scuf helped build the xbox elite controller and it is 100% the best controller for this generation and definitely worth buying at $150. I just wish they would've brought more of it to playstation because the ones they have made have all been OK, with the best being the impact to me.

I can play with both but the plasticy feel on the xbox controller makes it feel harder to grip alittle and feels like its sliding around in my hands. I like the small grooves and bumps the ps4 control has but hey to each there own.

Am I the only one who actually likes my Scuf Vantage? The SAX buttons are great for mapping to reload and weapon swap and the overall comfort factor is high in my opinion. It is pricey though but with the customization it has I think it’s worth it.

I still prefer the original dualshock 4 1. It fits my hands perfectly 2.i like the both joysticks in the bottom 3. The original lets me click the touchpad easily without my thumbs leaving the joystick.

The fact that all of the extra buttons are limited to being duplicates of normal buttons completely destroys any reason to use this controller. Scuf, please give us PC software that lets us use the extra buttons as unique buttons. The Xbox One Elite controller can do it, so if you want PC gamers to be able to consider your controller, you have to do it too.

The SCUF Vantage and their other lines of shitty products piss me off because no one that depends on marketing from them will tell you the truth. The controller drifts right out of the box. THE CONTROLLER DRIFTS OUT OF THE BOX. If drift is an issue for you, which is for anyone over 3. This controller is an over priced paper weight.
