Sarah I am so glad you mentioned how long this whole process took you. A lot of clients would assume this would be done and dusted in an hour and a half which would be ridiculous. Soak off in itself can sometimes take forever. Beautiful work and I REALLY enjoyed watching you do the finish filing. I really struggle when shortening and reshaping stiletto nails. I hate it when they start to look like beaks and I also struggle to get that really fine point. If you have the time to do a video on your technique for this I would be really thankful. It so does my head in.

I love rewatching your nail videos. The good ol times of 2-3 years ago of when you and Talia used to post on YT often. Your nail designs will always be my numero uno favorite and I learned a lot from you and your real time videos. Also your videos led me to be a huge Glitterbels fan. I’ve never come across another brand that makes such gorgeous acrylic like they do.

I absolutely love this set! I’m self taught and I always beat myself up thinking I take too long. Recently I filed my friend’s nails thin to her clear base, encapsulated, filed and filed. Then added foils and striping tape. It took 4 hours and I was bummed but knowing that you’ve done nails for years longer than I have really helped! I don’t think people know what goes into these intricate designs. Almost ignorance in a sense because they compare to the quick salons that do nothing but gel polish. So THANK YOU for letting us know how long this took!

Loving this long detailed style of video. So calming to watch also. You explain everything amazingly. For a soak off and basic acrylic, it takes me about 2.5 hrs and I charge accordingly. However, alot of people are used to paying low amounts at NSS salons and getting it all done in 45 mins. But I like to take my time and look after the nails as best as possible. So thats frustrating. But its enlightening to hear this kind of set with removal took 4 hours.

I'm loving the longer videos, it's really helpful for me to see how you remove the old set and then sculpt new stilettos, as it's what I'm trying to teach myself and perfect atm so thank you! Beautiful set Sarah and I’m loving the long videos ☺️. I remember Chantel from Fuzion showing us a little trick with long stilettos (it was with gel but I don’t see why it couldn’t work with acrylic too), is to turn the hand over and from underneath the nail put some product at the very tip. Then after it’s cured/dried file it even with the edges/sidewalls, it’s worked great for me as a bit of extra insurance in case the tips are too thin ☺️

I AM SO glad that I found your site👌 I from Denmark and I love doing my nails, just on a hobbyplan, but nother the less I want to learn to do it probberly And its so funny that you mentioned Celina Ryden, because I think style wise you Are lot alike, but your style yet far from a lot off the nail tech I follow on Tik tok and Insta. I started watching YN and Kirsty Meakin, and I just love it, Im 3 hours into your Chanel, and right now today im happy that im at home covid isolation because my teens tested positive, got my fingers crossed that I stay out off it, but the numbers for Denmark today says otherwise, 46000 positive the last 24h, and considered that we only have 5,6mio population its a lot😬😬 Hope you stay safe❤

I remember seeing this video when it first came out. Rewatching a few of your videos. The Christmas set ya did on her is one of my most fave sets. I’m gonna sound weird but I love the cuticle areas on her hands lmao because you prepped them so well and then look good for nails sets. Can’t explain it well lol. And it was a bit sad to see the removal of the Christmas set. I LOVE how you included how long everything took you from beginning to end and said to make sure to charge for your time and product 👍 would you mind adding how long the process takes you for each set ya do?

Have you ever tried using a monomer warmer? There's another nail tech that I watch on KZbin (I can't remember which one sorry!) but she has mentioned that her nail room gets cold in the winter and during the colder months, she uses a warmer for her monomer which I guess helps the acrylic dry faster? The warmer plugs into a USB plug cube like a cell phone charger and you sit a small dappen dish into it to warm it. Might be something to look into 🤷♀️

Generally, how often do your clients come in for a design or fill? How often do you take their nails completely off?
