This is so very helpful. I like how you take the time to show the menus and where to find things. Other people just blow by the menus and i get lost.

Excellent Work in progress! I’m finding Nomad to be Move - Drag - Inflate - Clay - Brush - Flatten - Smooth & Crease for 95%. Textures & Paint for 5% FYI: I’ve got a low key Kurt Russell head I’m gonna drop next.

I really enjoy your videos! I've learned a lot. I have a situation I can't figure out. I brought in an object I created from Ticnkercad. But I can't get the Symmetric to work on it. Can you help?!

Very useful series, thank you. One question, is there an app that would allow one to animate objects from Nomad?

If you go to the Nomad playlist on this channel, you should find an early 2 part ‘creating a character’ tutorial that could be a good start. The app has been updated a lot since that early video but the elements are still the same. Glen does have an online paid Nomad beginners course which is inexpensive for the content you get and I can really recommend that for getting a comprehensive understanding of all the tools on Nomad and there is a step by step creating a character on the course too. It’s how I got started and it really helped me to get started on the app. The link, if you’re interested, is. www.southerngfxcreativecourses.com/store

a reason I prefer to keep the white of the eye separate from the iris & pupils is it allows me to resize the white of the eye easier to fit in the sockets as any facial adjustments are made, as well as maintain the option to rescale the iris and dilate n constrict the pupils independently. I have not yet incorporated any ‘masking’ yet into my heads. But halloween is coming !!!
