Awesome stuff man, really appreciate you showing how the technique is done before plugging the brush pack as a way to speed things up rather than just jumping straight into "but my stuff, don't work about what you could do to create additional variations

very interesting take on a wooden plank. this is rather linear and feels more like i'm looking at a very smooth portion of a stylized rock or something rather than wood, doesn't have that organic feel or any real resemblance to wood. i'm sure if u do this style while trying to make a more accurate wooden plank it'd turn out pretty good, maybe add some imperfections, little dotted holes, swirls, any indication that it's wood would've been nice, there are no patterns either it's just a straight swoop up or 2 at most

learned alot from this. one question though. at 9.13 you can scale your mask and place it accurately. when i select the maskpen, and an alpha texture with freehand he just paints using the mask. how do you do this?
@StylizedCraft6 ай бұрын
Thanks! just hold down the (spacebar) key and you can drag the mask as you please

@@StylizedCraft i figured out the actual issue in my version... i pressed on the object... i had to click into the canvas so i can drag the rect... then i also could move it with space. Thanks so much man... this opens up so many possibilities and is such a great workflow. Would love to see a full environment made by you or even a full course on efficient environment design. You're amazing
