In this video I'm showing the process of how to sculpt an orc... In this case I'm sculpting Orgrim Doomhammer from the 'World Of Warcraft' realm with soft plasticine clay...

I could watch you create all day long. This is one of my favourites although they all are really superb. Just wondering if you paint your models - I would like to have seen the hell boy creation painted. Anyhow it's all just brilliant.💜

This one and Hellboy are made from soft plasticine so in order to paint them I need to cast them. I paint the figurines from polymer clay because once you bake polymer clay it's hard and you can paint it with acrylics.

That's an awesome orc good job man. I've been watching your videos and have to say I'm impressed. Recently ordered a big brick to start sculpting. Was wondering what you use to smooth lines after carving detail

Hey thanks, in this video I use a no brand, regular soft plasticine, wax based... Right now I'm using 'Sculpture Pro' medium hard oil based clay by Papa's clay it's similar to NSP Chavant... Also I've been sculpting in Fimo polymer clay.

Hey, I saw your post on r/wow and I love your channel. Do you have any tips/recommendations of material or guide and tools for someone who wants to get into sculpting small bust /figurines with clay?
@DartClayCreations3 жыл бұрын
You can try with polymer clay or plasticine and oil clay. You can search for sculpting tools on amazon/aliexpress and you can find them for 10$. If you go with plasticine watch my last 3 videos to learn some techniques

what dough are you using??

Amazing, can I ask do you take a cast of the sculpture and if so which do you use?. Latex, Silicone or Resin, I know you need sulphur free plasticine so their is no reaction, but do you find that the plasticine holds up well when taking a cast?.

I have never done any casting so far, but perhaps I would look for casting products... :)

Thank you :) now ! I'm your new subscriber :) , btw how to paint that ? sorry for my english

@@CLAYmorePh If you want to paint oil clay, you would need harder clay, something like Monster Clay Medium or hard or Sculpture Pro Medium or hard... My Superman sculpture is made in Sculpture Pro Medium clay. But the best way to paint plasticine or oil based clay is to make a cast...
