Great stuff! Sadly had to go the different and probably less pretty/efficient route of "layering squiggly sosiges and then sorta blending them in" for my open top neuro conversion which I just finished, but will be definitely useful down the line.

The gap between the two hemispheres itself is the longitudinal fissure, if my memory of my anatomy studies is correct. Corpus callosum is deeper inside the brain and basically forms the 'floor' of the longitudinal fissure and connects the two hemisphere
