Hey, just a quick suggestion, in my opinion monster clay for sculptures like this in the medium version is best, it's a lot easier to work with and it gives in my opinion a better quality

You should practice dry brushing. It would make your sculpts look much better when they have highlights as well of shading. It would make so many tiny details pop more.

@@gpem3612 To my understanding, Monster clay becomes rock solid when it dries. But I always wonder what would happen to a scupture if it was accidentaly left in dirrect sunlight. Would it soften up and get ruined?

@@wolffe6044 me too I have always wondered about that, I think it melts in high temperature, that's why hesitating about which clay I should choose to be my main material

If you're still wondering a year later; Monster clay can melt under direct sunlight, yes. It's often used to make temporary molds and such for resin, or a temporary sculpt. It is not meant to be turned into something permanent. Oven-curing clay tends to be the easiest to work with, as you don't have to cover it overnight, worrying that it'll dry naturally. But they can be a little more expensive. Cosclay is my recommended brand. (Flexible when baked, sticks to baked clay, easy to work with) Air dry can be covered in plastic wrap and then lightly sprayed with water every 24h to be kept from drying. Tends to be cheaper. Works well, but it can crumble and dry up kinda fast if you're working for a longer period of time and doesn't seal it off properly.
