Hi I tried to use the dynamesh shortcut. However, whenever I hold alt and click the empty canvas, it pans instead. When I move my mouse to the empty canvas in general, it has the rotate symbol instead of a crosshair/drawing symbol. Any way to fix this?

Hi, if you're on a PC you probably need to use CTRL instead of ALT (I work on a Mac). Maybe this can help: docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/keyboard-shortcuts/shortcuts-by-category/ Otherwise, if there is a real issue, I suggest contacting the Pixologic support and opening a ticket. They are usually really quick and helpful. Hope this helps!

Hello! great videos and thank you for posting them :-) I have a question about the tablet itself....is it possible to use it with other 3d or drawing sotwares - like Blender or Sketchable - or is it only usable with ZBrush Core?
@JoernZimmermann7 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The tablet is a regular one, you can use it with any application. Wacom even offers different bundles, with e.g. 2D software if that's more something for you. www.wacom.com/de-de/products/intuos-draw Hope that helps.

Yes, it helps a lot. Thank you very much for your super fast answer. :-D

Is the 3d good or should i pay a bit extra for the medium intuos pro What would be the major difference in usability in your opinion (i don't me the amount of buttons but the sensitivity etc )
@thedarkpilgrim58757 жыл бұрын
The 3D is good. I'm doing all my sculpting and Photoshop work with it for a couple of months now. Though I miss some buttons and a touch strip or wheel (e.g. for brush size control) for Photoshop, but you said that's not a concern for you. As for the sensitivity, please look up and compare the specs on the Wacom products page, as I don't know that. For me, it is definitely enough. But everyone has their own preferences. Best would of course be, if you could actually test both versions in real life, to be sure you make the right decision. Hope this helps (a little bit).

Thanks a lot man 3D is probably more then enough for a noob like myself unfortunately can't compare the products live. What kind of sculpting are you doing ?

hey there o/ nice video :o but i had no sound? ^^ i have a question about the core version too... i want to create weapons and characters (humans, dwarfs, elves, orks.. ) for visualisation of PnP or text RPG´s and I don´t know if the core version is enough for that... never worked with that.. ^^ So I need to sculp weapons and characters and need to colour them out i´m interestet in the bundle, because the program looks amazin, i didn´t find any other and my old wacom don´t work anymore.. keep your good work o/

Thanks! Yeah, no sound here, sorry ;-) Even if Core has a limited range of functions compared to the full version, you can still create awesome stuff with it. What exactly is hard to say since in ZBrush there are usually more than one ways to achieve something. Depending on your skills, knowledge, thinking outside the box etc. What I suggest if you wanna know more before making a decision is looking up videos of sculpts made with ZBrush Core and watch all the tutorial videos on the Pixologic page. That will give you a good overview. Also, if you have specific questions, I'd recommend contacting the Pixologic support and ask them. They have one of the best customer services out there. Good luck with everything! :-)

hello, this kit activate zbrush full progam or have restriction? you cant upgrade to 4r8 too? need buy one and look some information
@JoernZimmermann7 жыл бұрын
In this bundle, there is a full license of ZBrush Core. ZBrush Core is a function-reduced (but still very good, depending on your goals) ZBrush version. As ZBrush 4R8 was just released, Pixologic has announced that you can upgrade to the full ZBrush version. For more info on that please check out the Pixologic website.

I think you can do this with Blender, from what I've heard (I have no experience with it, though). Anyway, you can definitely do this with ZBrush Core.
