I needed to sculpt some bones that are to support the flesh and muscles for the head, neck and shoulder.

@vampirernight Thanks for your kind words. Don't be discouraged, I too sometimes leave a piece sit aside for days and then again get back to it. I find it helpful recording these videos and during editing of the videos for KZbin upload, I discover things I do wrong or things I should change. Keep it up and continue sculpting. I would like to see some of your work.

I would say it is more than a hobby to me, although I haven't sold any of the sculptures. Someone asked me if I would sell them, but they are made out of soft clay and hard to sell them and ship them in that form. I have recently taken some classes in Stone sculpting and I think that kind of sculpture would be easer to ship.

you can make a mold of the clay and fill it with resin to make an exact copy that will be rock hard after it sets in the mold and the cut the mold down the seam lines and take the copy resin mold out.

You make amazing sculptures!!! What is the clay you are using and where can I buy the same??
@Liberty_Valance11 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comments! I don't remember what clay I used then, but I'm currently using a clay that is much cheaper and almost the same texture. It is called J-Mac and you can get it from Amazon.

@Liberty_Valance10 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comments! It's been so long, I don't remember, but I think it took 4 or 5 weeks working a few hours a day, not every day.
