Sculptor Charlie Mostow is working with Sabin Howard to create the United States National World War I Memorial. The monument will be unveiled in Pershing Square Park in Washington DC in 2023/2024. For more information visit sabinhowardsculpture.studio
Charlie earned a B.A., magna cum laude, in Comparative Literature from the University of San Francisco. He studied drawing under graduates of the Aristides Classical Atelier in Seattle. He then moved to New York City to study drawing and sculpture at the Grand Central Atelier. Charlie was the recipient of scholarships from the Grand Central Atelier and the Art Renewal Center.
After graduation Charlie became the sculptor in residence at the Grand Central Atelier. He taught figure sculpture, portrait sculpture, and ecorché anatomy classes. He has taught workshops privately and at the Grand Central Atelier, Gage Academy, and Classical Realism Workshops.
Prior to joining Sabin Howard Sculpture studio, Charlie spent 18 months in Paris with his wife, painter Jessica Artman.
