At 2:35 you could have maybe survived if you landed a little to the left. So that is still a possible base jumping spot.

I will add it to my list. Yeah, on the crafting menu, it isn't always obvious what skill levels you need, or exactly how much is needed for some items

Can you jump with parachute into that chimney at 2:21

You can, but the parachute did not open in time. Even if it did, there is no way out at the bottom, so you would be stuck lol

Can you change stance while doing this base jump? It could deploy chute faster dont know but will definitely try this 👍

I haven't tried that specifically, but tried some random things to see if it made any difference. Haven't found anything yet, will play around with it some more, including stance, to see if there is just something we are missing. But I have a feeling the devs intentionally didn't want us to be able to parachute off of anything and float down on top of other players or into bases that might be near a tall object.

In my sneak preview video for the Big Deck Party, you'll see we were able to build a really nice area for an event we held on our server before it was patched. But I understand why they patched it, as it could be exploited to make unraidable bases.

Does dexterity level change the speed of opening the parachute?

Great question! I just tied it, created a character with 5 dexterity, and also made Aviation advanced in case it is related in any way. But it didn't make any difference, it was deploying at the same time as before :-(
