Yeah, Thievery is a lot harder to level, so I put my points in that, and use this method to level my demo :-)

you could also do multiple skill leveling with cutting down trees -> logs -> treebranches all the way down to small sticks and doing stake pit traps. plus you'll get survival + awareness + demo, and axes are free since you can just remake some rope with the sticks for recrafting the axe :D

I typically do that when starting a new character to get to at least basic survival, usually combined with levelling engineering though cutting the logs into planks. Your comment is great advice, however particularly when I am trying to get from medium to advanced, I do it this way :-)

Thievery is a pain, and haven't come up with a way to level it efficiently. So I always put points in it when I create my character, and then level up the other Dexterity skills in game.

Will going from Basic Demo to Medium make the birds nest of wires at least a little better? I'm new to Scum, 6weeks, BUT... I want to be able to do killboxes. I'm beyond comfortable with lockpicking but have just now tried wire cutting

Also, I've got 27% of the way toward medium by filling sticks in stake traps so not the worst grind but a grind nonetheless. Going to try this way and hopefully it's faster but to get all the way to advanced? God. Lol

It will be a little better. Even at advanced, you will still see them "bird nested" occasionally, but most times they will be pretty straight. For kill boxes or defusing, I highly recommend grinding to advanced.

Not sure but im pretty sure I got mine up building nail strips and barb wire barricades. Super fast and cheap in mats. Just have to collect all nails and barb wire.

The preferred way to level up any skill, is through natural game play. You can level many skills fast enough just from using those skills. But there are some skills that are slow to level, especially getting to advanced. So at times you just may want to grind them out as quickly as possible. :-)

Unfortunately there isn't a fast way that I know of. Due to that reason, i always put it to advanced when creating my character since i can level other skills easier.

That is strange, I test my videos on all my devices, and on my TV it is pretty loud at around 30%. But I'll look into it. I have a similar issue with a specific youtuber that I follow.
