Short. Packed. Well structured. Very deliberate. I'm not learning much, as I used to play this a while ago, but it's a perfect guide. Since you do this for a living, it's clear you take this as serious as a job, which shows in the quality, and helps the community that much more.

I'm new to this. I hope your next video comes out sooner than this one did compared to the last. Might I suggest essential early loot for players, what to prioritize when you have no inventory space, and where to loot (for SP and server differences if applicable). Another solid option would be settings for single player or if someone is starting their own server to play with friends. I know the new horde mechanic is disliked by many, so how to turn that off would probably be a handy and quick 45-60 seconds of a video.

As a player with 5 hours in the game, and many deaths from not understanding treating wounds, how to rest, how most basic mechanics work..this series will help me more if you keep going a bit deeper into mechanical systems

IMO - at least in SP mode, there needs to be at least options for Instant crafting and instant ladder climbing / descending. Ive TRIED to get into it and basically really like the feel of the game, but altho I'm not afraid of lengthy learning / practice curves which require frequent restarts, time taken doing stuff just makes it maddening.

For a new spawn check around the houses in towns and in the fields for vegetables. There's grapes in the center of the map and olives down south. The fish factory in A1 is a good place to get sardines and tuna to keep your protein up. The cheese factory in A2 is a good place to get fat. IMO the police stations are really good for guns if you can lockp;ick. If you can't lockpick try to find a crow bar to force the lock boxes. If you're single player the drops land close to you. Just remember there'll most likely be puppets around the outside. If you're in the factory area at the east end of the B2 airport there's a building on the east side approx in the middle where the wall steps out that can have medical supplies in it or the hospital is a good place for medical supplies. There's a break in the wall by the building so you might sneak in without alerting the mechs. This won't work if you're a new spawn but, if you're already playing the game during a major update shut the game down where you want to spawn in after the update where you start fresh. I've started at the B2 airport, and lately at the C2 trader. The next time I plan on starting fresh at the castle. A lot of good starter equipment there with very little resistance.

Well this series got me installing Scum ... again and subscribing here. Thank you. No doubt it is a great game but i tend to loose motivation once i have got my character kitted out out with some kit. Anything you can show to provide motivation to continue and stop the what do i do next dilemma?

@woodcote7617 thanks wood! Appreciate your comment. There are many things.. maybe try a harder server and survive solo. Always males it more fun. I like 0.5 to 1.0x loot servers. I'll see what I can do. Be safe!

Where is Part 3? Just started playing. Part 1 & 2 have been most helpful, but I am ready for pt3, but, this is now 2 months old. Have you stopped the series?
