You did it all wrong Ray.... You were well armed, looking for them with a chill mind set..... For them to spawn you need to be armed with only a stone knife, jumpy, trying to be "quiet" and full of good loot that will be hevily missed if you die. The game knows to strike when you're at your weakest.

@@oynlengeymer2434 Last night I was about to climb one of the towers at the prison. Looked around and a bear came running up outside the fence. There was a hole in the fence close by. The bear didn't even get aggressive. Just stood around. When I got to the top of the tower it turned around and took off running. I did pump a few 9mm rounds in its butt. The bear didn't seem to notice and kept running.

well the patch has so many good things.. but the horde is done badly. seems like old system has been replaced. immersion not there anymore. you walk towards a town or any poi and there are no zombies to be seen. no need of planning where to go at best to either avoid or kill z a smart way... they just spawn... just went to a gas station with no puppets.. looted a bit and then they spanwed all around me... buildings are empty.. wilderness too, except the times some z spawn near you, in places you checked before and where clear... this needs to be fixed yea... nothing more to say about the "new" system.... I love this game, I really do, but this is just bad

its been a pleasure to see this game continuously evolve over the years. I still say that we still need new maps like how DayZ does it to future proof things. Weapon sounds and handling totally change the feel of the combat in the best way. Flame thrower is cool as a new addition but it looks like it needs tons of work still on the flame textures themselves as well as how fire behaves. Love how you can burn to death by stepping on your campfire for two seconds but shooting your flame thrower into the wall at close range does nothing lol! Obviously they will be refining. Ive been out of it for a while and havent been keeping up with news - do they intend to allow players to set fire to wooden structures/bases with the flame thrower?

I feel like its getting a bit to gimmicky. and now zeds just spawn in for no reason other than horde. hordes should be spawned and visible so you would have an idea of how you could approach the situation...

in a perfect world sure. But for optimization its done this way, just like the animal hunting, rather than checking a series of clues to get the animal to spawn, here you need to create a series of loud sounds. The reavers in 9.0 were same, you get the sounds first, then if you make sound, it generates a spawn, but it was cool that that had an animation from ceiling. Ofc here they cant do that so they come running from distance. imo it's still cool for the limitations of the engine. A game this vast simply cannot have hundreds of "zombies" all over the map in real time.

This. As a new player, casual gamer, fairly new to pc gaming, and sorta noob to online survival games, i struggle with dying a lot vs 1 or 2 that ends up infecting me and never finding antibiotics or alcohol lol 😭 even on half of the "noob friendly" servers I'm usually dead before i get anything accomplished. The new manual might've helped with a lot of that. But I 99% typically prefer 3rd person games and the accuracy in 3rd person is pretty bad to try and get used to. Advanced melee taking 30 shots to kill some of the pups while another one is chewing on your ass is kinda rough for a noob as well. Spawning right behind u when you think you're safe is kinda a turn off as well I did enjoy days gone hordes and zombie mechanics. Not so easy as to not be a challenge, but not so challenging i question why i purchased the game when starting out. All that said, the game is beautiful and the concept is great, most of the playability is great (haven't played the new patch yet), and I'm not giving up. But as a casual solo, even after watching videos, and 15-20ish hours of grinding, server hopping and grinding some more, I'm still a complete bum at the game, haven't attempted any kind of base building activity, or found a vehicle of any kind to get in and see what driving is like lol

@@flash1259 players aren't the issue. I've literally never ran into any player. I'm usually hitting low ping noob friendly extra loot servers but It's always the puppets giving me infections if they're not gang banging me to death. I tried to get my son (vet of rust and lover of survival games) in with me and we were never able to meet up on a map before we died many many times lol. I can't get used to the third person accuracy i guess. I really really really dislike first person games so it's a bit harder maybe. IRL I'm pretty good with bows and guns, but in this game I'm pretty terrible lol. Even the swords in 3rd person with advanced melee aren't very accurate

@@Spoofaged I thought maybe you was having a problem with other players on PVP. The hospital is a good place for meds. A pharmacy should be a good place. I pretty much never find antibiotics in one even on a high loot server. I don't care for first person either. I play third person and when I aim down the sights I shoot in first person. I do have to switch to first person when I use the compound bow. Then I switch back to third person. I got lucky at the Radio tower and found a MP5 SD and a yellow screwdriver. That let me go back to the prison and get a bunch of guns. So far I've probably traveled the width of the map. I started at the C2 trader and visited a few poi's around it and now I'm at the A0 trader. Quite a few hordes later. Good thing I had the MP5 SD and I bought 10 boxes of ammo at the trader. Good luck out there and try to be safe. There's a potential horde around every corner and along every straight stretch now.

How is the Scar? Does the .308 silencer work for it? It seems like it would be the perfect mix between a sniper and an assault rifle. Powerful, put a good scope and a silencer on it, and you no longer have that awkward issue of wishing you had a sniper and an assault rifle. Then you use your HSF19 fully kitted out with sight and silencer and 5 mags full of 9mm Armor Piercing, and you have yourself the perfect load out. I was running an M249 with a silencer and the P223 Scope with 3 - 100 round clips of standard ammo. I had a light machine gun/sniper rifle type of thing going on. But I doubt it would be any good long range realistically. I’m using pistol in close range, it’s easier to use close range. And that pistol carries 19 shots. It handles everything and is quiet. But I think with the right attachments the Scar works. Plus I am in desert, camo and black. So without painting the rifle it will match. Although my character is as stylish as they come hahaha. Assault backpack I try to keep empty unless looting, desert tactical vest, cowboy hat, quiver, and holster. Lighter brown Tactical sweater, knive container thing, brown gloves, black vest and black shoes. OR the Mexican actors pants that starts with that machete and big front pouch. Black pants and black boots. Or the cowboy boots. That’s the best look in the game. Plus good Camo.

The crafting changes are well done, love it, auto craft bobby pins is something I have waited for years at this point :) Also the Pick up is back, YES!!!! can't wait to slap some armor on it. But I must say, the Horde system is very underwhelming... at least in the version we see in this video, a bit of background sound and 4 Puppets spawning somewhere around the player is not really a "Horde system". On our Server we have spawn chance a few ticks higher, check rate higher and spawn multiplayer just a bit higher (took lots of testing to not fuck performance in both cities) and we get a better "horde" system than what we see in this build so far. Hope they can manage to improve it because this is not a "Horde", this is what you get at any point in any town, and it is utterly lackluster.

Ive seen better examples around, only getting to play it we will know how consistent and dangerous it is. I am pretty sure number of players around affects it and there may also be a cooldown in between horde spawns but this video specifically it was a bit sad.

For me the crafting menu is going to have a little bit of a learning curve. I couldn't remember the names of pretty much anything I searched for. Overall I think I'll like it. I noticed the fame points have been considerably lowered. It's going to take forever to be able to buy a truck. Might as well not think about getting one in the wild on the server I'm on. Almost all of them are spawning in without an engine. Or tires. Or seats. At least the ones I've found. Yeah I've tried the auto craft on arrows and it is nice. I got kind of used to hordes in No One Survived so the hordes aren't as bad as I thought they'd be. There's still a lot at each horde. Probably 10 to 15. A lot for me.

Ok but flamethrower needs some fixes already, it doesn't work like this IRL, if you just shoot it in the air it leaves sticky goo that is burning, not just some mist lol. I have my server set to spawn too many zombies so there are hordes 40 deep when you make too much noise lol it's gonna be insane now that they can open doors and crawl in windows. I wonder how the horde will affect the hordes i get now.

I'd rather them release an enjoyable polished experience than a game that gets review bombed into oblivion because of bugs and then never gets the attention and player base it deserves and then disappears because devs go broke. I don't think it is so amazing. Cuz it still misses the ability to grab a box of nails and throw them on the ground! It is frustrating to pick one by one from that box. While you can have vicinity Spiderman senses to know what is around you. Not coming back to the game until there is a button for unpacking all at once. RayKit you call it annoying. It is not just annoying, it is literally frustrating and also it is going against the common sense if you play a game that simulates minerals and vitamins in your veins.

I made a post about this on Twitter stating how tired we all are about the nails/bolts. Tomislav replied directly to me saying: "this will come with the inventory rework which is planned for 1.0v 0.95v has crafting rework inside" So we have to wait, and there's nothing else we can do about it. On the plus side, we can now craft the nails and bolts, so do that instead of removing it, I know I will.

Fair enough. But still I am staying sceptical, cuz it took the Devs years to add an auto craft button. They vere avoiding it like a devil is avoiding the cross. It seems to me almost as an excuse, to say it will come later. QoL add-ons are always warm and welcoming to new and old players. Good QoL improvements creates an attraction to the game or software. So avoiding something which everybody wants, seems to me as a sadistic move from devs 😅 They are literally mocking us, yeah yeah, it will come just wait and work with what you have. That is my reason why I left playing.

This game is in progress for over 5 years and they did almost nothing in the last 3 years. thats just embarrassing. We dont need that horde shit or that stupid looking fire from the flamethrower. What we need is game MEchanis, something to have fun with. We need less Bugs that are a couple years old. We need a crafting system which you can use without looting. You cant use a bow without looting because you cant craft a bag to handle the arrows. I mean you can but i guess you wont find a goddam animal to skin because of that stupid hunting mechanics. The Game doesnt know what it wants to be. Its hardcore Survival where you are proud that you found something to eat and to drink and in the next moment you get shot by a random dude.

This patch is a farce, the trailer was grossly misleading and nothing in that trailer is in the update. Gave us the pickup truck back but only in orange, where as the trailer shows custom paint jobs, the flamethrower is useless as the puppets just run through the flames, the visual effects are poor, Scar is about the only decent content. As for the crafting rework, why? Allegedly helping new players get used to the game, but players with thousands of hours in the game have been managing since 2018, thought this was a hardcore survival game. Most of this seems geared towards a console release making the GUI easier to use on a controller. This is a very poor update. Seen as you think this is “brilliance” will be interesting to see if you stay away from community mods if they allow it, especially if it’s mods removing the garbage they have added that you have praised.

It will be unraidable if they dont fix c4 putting it the same time and do dmg of all 3 at once . For wall lvl 5 need 3 c4 in the same time to destroy instant, if enemy with toolboox repairing flag how enemy destroy even one wall lvl 5 if can only 400dmg can be applayed by 3 c4? :)

There is a cooldown at the moment between base repairs if you are damaging elements

for fixing flag you need 4-5 sec , and for plant 3 c4 one by one more that 20sec if nobody killing you from the base, one man will be at flag and repair every time when he hear boom and nobody can raid you cuz your walls have 1k , if you in online raid you need instant down walls. so 2 c4 +tnt, or 3 c4 but if you fail and you dont break walls you lose 2-3c4 and he just fix wall and even if you have 200 c4 what you used for? only for offline raid and who wanna do online raid ?watch update 2 c4+ tnt do 400dmg lol this is dmg of 1 c4 normally others c4 and tnt do not work correctly because this wall need to go down with 3 c4 not only took 400dmg this is big bug, you will se when you loot 30 days c4 and go to enemy and cant destroy wall lvl 3 cuz its buged or no dmg at all xD @@rubencaixeiro9762

I don't know why, but i feel like the more update we got the game feeling more hostile and difficult for solo, from making a base iss sooo back breaking work. ( In my experience i need 5 full non stop hour just to make 2x2 hut with full everything bed,chest,etc) for solo compare to rust (where i can get full stone 4x4 in just 3 hour) or even dayz. Now i really feel like the Devs gave me more reason to wanted to uninstall the game, but hey i still wait for solo friendly update any day now😅😅😅 (i hope in full realese we get solo friendly update or IM just gonna uninstall. 😅😅😅😅

@@Hotte1967 i mean dayz had similar thing but instead of horde mode for simple reason like gunshot they had a specialized zomebie (A.K.A screamer) witch is goin to aleart all zombie in POI if agroed them an not killed them l, beside the zombie in dayz cant Jump and open the door l, in my opinion the Dev must choose either they form horde or they jump and can open the door l, don't include both. Its gonna cause solo and new commer that didnt know the melee system had hard time.

I am disappointed. The Character-Skill-System is gone now. You can play as a dumb character but can build or craft high-tech-tier items. The mechanics are connected to the costs/materials now. You don´t have a progress anymore over a long pace. Now you can run over the map and loot as much as you can and build highest tiers without learning these things. That is boring for PVE-Players and Solo-Players. This decision is a plus for Casual Gamers, but not for those who want to play a complex survival game :(

Worst update till this day.. So you come by a farm you see 2 puppets, and you will try to take em out quietly, but you missed one puppet walking in a bush. Now he/she makes the horde call and the puff, puff, puff , puff 10-15 puppets just spawn out of the blue !!! Ridiculous In addition, they are hypersensitive and react to everything. Me and two friends took our car and drove around the map, to several open fields. And then one of us shot up in the air, and again !!! 6 out of 10 attempts spawned hordes. I actually thought this update would change the puppet's behavior. I thought you could drive around the map and randomly run into hordes. No thanks, I say. Let's get the old settings back, where you can set how many puppets are on the map.

I thought the devs said that the puppets were going to be reworked? This "horde" just looks like the exact same, straight line attack puppets we've had. So this huge 0.95 update is really just updating the crafting UI (cant even search "chest" lol) and upping the spawn rate on puppets. Cool... Oh and the truck that was already in the game but removed and released as new content. I am glad to see they are still working on the game but they aren't adding anything gameplay wise.. this is going to be the usual - play it for a few days to check out the new update and then ghost it until another update 6 months from now because there's nothing new in the game to actually keep you engaged. They always over hype this stuff and under deliver.. I don't think this is what anyone was expecting from this new amazing horde system.. eh.. oh well.

How can you like that BS? The Fire looks like its from PS1, especially the game looks not very good at all. They dont fix bugs that are there for years. This game is dead before it comes out. The DEvs are just bad. They dont want to hear what the community says. I know what im talking about, I have over 1k hours in this game.
