As unrealistic as our movements are I think the puppets movements are even more unrealistic. The way they jump and pretty much zip from one spot to another almost like teleporting.

Oh so the players are getting optimizations on movement?? ​I hope for something more realistic... i wish they would look at what kojima did with death stranding you feel every step in that game! With a lot of packages or none the movement always feels like you are controlling a person in this fantasy world. I hope!! they don't just reduce speed when heavy or make it so that you cant jump anymore when heavy and call it a day..

No amount updates will do anything but get players to play for few weeks and then wake up to a chest full of weapons behind 5 locked doors now emptied by a flying chinese cheater I hope they make Tec-1 regular militia, and then Tec-1 super soldiers (both of those to be a real threat when engaging) that hunt players without Bcu's when you attempt to hijack a dropship, get something like a phoenix tears that allows you to wear the super suits and shit like that Also the Bcu removal needs to be a hard thing to do but also a thing that is worth it somehow ,giving you advantage but also penalties. It would be so cool if when your bcu gets removed you get put on a hunted status and if tec-1 manages to capture you they take you to a facility on the map and start turning you into an experiment and your squad has to bail you out. What if those monsters in the forest are like aggro animals towards players like razors but they don't make any sound when they track you like monsters in movie : Quiet Place(they sure look similar), traversing the wilderness is kinda boring right now and it needs to be more risky(esp at night)

Maybe by the time you can discard the BCU, it stays, etc.. but a penalty for removing it means you may not be able to increase skills. On the other hand, removing the bcu means Tec-1 cannot locate you maybe.

I completely love this game. I only got to play for a week or two. It was on my buddies PC last year and a lot changed. It still looks good but I need to get myself a new PC to play. It’s one of my number one favorite games but based off what I’ve seen, it does look like turn on wrong path, but I love it.

I mean with keeping things clean especially clothing they should give us the option to clean our gear at a cheaper cost with soap or give us a washing machine to clean clothes and maybe give a couple more cleaning stuffs like washing powder and a washing liquid both having a larger use compared to soap, or they make soap clean 100% of clothing with just a single use. This hygiene system is personally somewhat avoided as long as you have 3 in the appropriate skill getting a severe infection isn't really going to happen if you make sure all wounds are looked after. Also if clothing is going to contribute to getting sick make the clothing take longer to get dirty or make the clothing get dirty with certain conditions as in if you're too hot and sweating clothes get dirty or if you get a wound clothes get dirty and of course they get dirty if you do the business in your pants

I really like the game and have it since day 1 to the point my daughter wanted it to play together, so I bought it however we stopped playing as we couldn't run a dedicated server, there's been talk of having being able to run a dedicated server on the release of 1.0 is that the case? We stopped playing because of griefimg even on a PVE server and since I have my own server rig would rather we just had our own but I'm not willing to shell out the cash every month on a hosted one when I could quite easily do it on my own server machine

Scum Is one of the first hand full of games I bought when I built my PC early 2021. I once again left the console world behind and came back to PC and was way outta the loop. I really only knew of one, PC only, game I new I wanted at this point and it was also what convinced me I was missing out on alot of great options PC offers that consoles don't. So, I jumped ship and quickly Scum caught my eye and I liked what I saw so much I didn't debate and took a chance and bought it no sale. Scum became my first love on my return to PC(it was Diablo 2 when I got my first PC ever, beginning of high school) and was all the proof I needed that the move to PC was righteous. PCs are more to me than just games, but I was born a Gamer and have more than 35 years of experience. So, I feel I'm Qualified to say that SCUM is a great game and its crazy unique for being part of a genre that super poppin these days. It does a good job setting itself apart from its kin.

i like scume a lot but dont play it any more .... the buildingsystem is nothing 4 me ... maybe they bring back a better version of the old system wher you abel to build in buildings and thake some looks too other games like day z wher you can build bunkers and stuff. hope the game have a good start and sell a good amount of games after 1.0 is releasd ;) and thank you RayKit 4 bring this short videos who tell us evry thing whats new ;)

I wouldn’t mind this build system if you were able to snap blueprints together before building them. The building system is so damn clunky and the blueprint collision is awful, in scum you want to build in a cave? You have to start building the base before you even know if it fits. Then you spend hours building only to find you have a wall that is just touching the inside of the cave wall so won’t place and now you have a gaping hole in the base that cannot be fixed. The new system is so bad for building anywhere other than in the open on flat land.

@@RayKit yep, it’s a proven system of triangles and squares, as a rust player I can come up with some crazy designs by scum standards with expensive raid paths for relatively cheap materials, if only I could build the blueprints for the foundation first to see if it fit, or for example if I’m building on a slight hill whether I’m going to get to a point where I can’t build a couple of foundations due to the topography. The build system needs work, but it’s not far off being good!

I hope it will be good. But I do not see how it will work. Currently horde system is not good. You can see how zeds spawn somewhere and despawn. So same will be with drop ships :) and AI enemies, bosses, world events.... Spawn radius was added for optimization and it completely ruined immersion. And if there is no immersion then it does not work.

1) The game should mainly disable auxiliary applications such as reshade, nvidia color, etc. The developers don't really think about it, that it doesn't work, but it does. Tarkov has banned all of this and I'm getting banned. If they are not amenably hard, there will always be a bunch of cheaters. The game is supposed to be a challenge, survival and not to adjust the lighting, so that I don't have to use night vision and other things. Sometimes I see PvP players bragging about their video, but they play it like PUBG and there is no question of skill when I see their kamikaze tactics :D 2) In the game, I might remove respawning to the sector so that the person is a little more tactical like in DayZ. 3) maybe mods will come out with 1.0

I’ve literally said this since we were in closed testing when the netcode was funnily enough better than it is now. They’ve spent years adding “content” and increasing the map size on a game that dies on its arse when you go above 50 pop.

It's difficult for the developers to keep fixing these things on every patch (unless optimisation is REALLY bad) when 1.0 hits devs will work solely on optimisation. Right now there's no marketing.. We are the testers. It's early access as we speak. It's not complete.

Hi I think the Train yard will be main Southern POI it seems like a lot of activity could center around it from the yet to be Implemented Port and or Tec1 HQ in south of the island. trains would have to come n support NPcs and the potential for action being spread out across the entire island nothing's gonna cover n link POI'S etc like a rail network. the Airfield is the PVP Center spot I reckon the Train yard could be the main NPC/Mission spot which would sorta make sense cause there's nothing to really go down there for. the man problem the devs have is making as much of the map active and worth while. as for the puppets old puppets were pretty much fine as they were all they really had to do is add door opening and vaulting in window ability's. the Whole Horde thing is the devs getting too out their depth tbh too much ego there. yes experiment with Hordes etc in the background but it's clearly not fit for implementation yet and im not even an active player and i can see the disaster it is! it should have stayed internal branch but as usual the devs go ahead, do their thing knowing the consequences piss everyone off and get shouted at by the community n cry the got shouted at lol. the whole horde thing has brought nothing to the game other than frustation for players from what iv seen but that's the devs just got too ahead of themselves and abilty's too early. people would have settled n been happy with normal puppets but with added door opening and vaulting through window ability's it was really that simple, it's really that simple, it didn't need the whole showboating horde thing just yet, they should have just taken credit and praise that was on offer. the devs have basicly killed two of the main features that made SCUM fun the encounters with "Puppets and Animals" and they still didn't add birds back! I presed hard for them to add birds, idk if they are coming back. then they commited gaming Blasphemy by adding Traders with no option to disable them cos they are an integeral part of the game. that's three of the main thing's that killed Scum 1. Traders 2. Screwing with Puppets 3. Completely Screwing up Animal encounters and hunting, 4. if you want to include the hording. I can't see any of this changing unfortuatnely.
