And viewership skyrockets when its top teams vs other top teams! So that means increasing competitiveness throughout the league would also increase viewership throughout the WHOLE EVENT. And online qualis. Sure its harder to win events when there is 8 teams actually competing for the at 1 spot instead of 3 to 4 at best. So its a win win for either sides in my opinion. More viewership and more widely exposure means more MONEY and better contracts! What is there not to understand ? There’s a reason cod is regressing so hard and a reason contracts were cut with lesser salaries….. Its a WIN WIN in both situations

Even though they are a Saudi org and want to build an all Saudi team, why not sign/buyout 2 top challengers teams (8 players, 2 ARs, 2 Flex, 4 SMGs) and use them to scrim? Hypothetically can they buy those teams to scrim each other internally and all 4 get better, leading to not only their non-saudi teams to get better and win but their Saudi teams to do so as well? They would own 2 challengers teams, an Academy team, and a pro team. They can scrim whenever they want, play it 8s style and mix teams to create random situations for preparation, and all 4 teams can get better. Not only that, eventually, under Clayster’s guidance, they will become so well versed in structured COD through extensive reps. Then the pro teams will have a problem on their hands because the Saudi boys are shooters.

I could see that being a scheduling nightmare because life happens. My suggestion is the league forces teams to have to play a certain number of maps against each other in between majors (say 35 maps in a 5 to 7 weeks stint). The teams can choose scheduling, modes and maps played on their own. This fights against teams that are bad, not being able to find screams because no one wants to play them and also teams boycotting a top-tier team so that they can't get better.

Rewind is a good SnD map but honestly I'd rather them put Hideout, Extraction, Bounty or Dealership in there than Rewind. I'd also like to see Red Card thrown in the bin. With the Falcons and scrims, maybe they could scrim OMIT since the Challengers teams all think they are too good. I've said before that a team playing 1 game a week against Falcons won't hurt, if 4 teams did that then Falcons get a full week of decent practice and the other teams can still work on alternate strategies and keep their hands hot before playing other teams.

In anything I’ve ever competed in or coached, practicing people that are significantly worse than whatever team I was on, was always detrimental. You just get worse yourself when the gap is that big. You’re not just not learning anything you’re getting loose and sloppy, and you’ll never even notice because the people you’re practicing are just too awful to expose it. I wouldn’t be scrimming them either especially considering there’s a couple of challengers teams that actually will actually be beneficial, not detrimental to scrim. After LATs super team formed I thought a salary cap would help to even out the league from a viewers perspective but also realized that could be viewed as a punishment to the bigger orgs. Honestly there's just not enough talent to go around there's 15-18 tier 1 players and then it's a pretty big drop off in talent. So if 12 of the top guys make up 3 teams its pretty impossible to form a roster to actually compete for a title

Paris got 3-0'd 6 times in a whole year and falcons have been 3-0'd 5 times through major 1. Granted more matches are played this year. Still 30% map win rate compared to a 13%. Also that paris team went game 5 10 times. Falcons havent seen a game 5 yet. The league is usually top heavy every year though so i don't think it really matters.

They practice with them in scrims and during splits. These teams know what worth they will receive from doing it at a MAJOR. We have to be honest with ourselves and see the stark difference in performance from ALL 11 other teams and even some challenger teams. I get what vegas is trying to do but come on as a fan i want to see teams with players that have actually done their time showing they belong there. Its an insult to the league and fans to cry no one wants to warm up with them when they havent won more than a map out of 14 to 15 sets. What r we doin. Hell the other teams would get the same warm up just playing pubs

But how is the player supposed to show they belong there when they're not getting practice? The issue here isn't falcons being bad. It's the fact that they're bad and no one wants to play them which is going to just keep them bad. I can't tell you the last time I saw a player come out of challenges and become a top 10 player in the league. it doesn't happen because there is a lack of scheduling and teams forced to practice against better teams. This has been an issue for years where teams even boycott, top-tier teams because they don't want them to get better.

Like 2 or 3 single maps out of all the sets. So what are we even talking about. Its all because they got money. To your point there are players who move up from challengers who may or may not start out hot but never a whole team that succeed against the pro teams which is the equivalent of the falcons that won 1 event (against challengers) before ecw and then in the league. They have changed their team 4 times now with no improvement. All im saying is its an embarrassment to the league to put this particular team in the PRO league and cry when no one gain anything in WARM UPS at a major. Everyone practiced them before the event so the argument being presented is BS. Im not against the org itself but they could get players who could actually compete. They have a couple who are shooters, how about getting players that have experience to give them help and actually win some matches to justify your worth to warm up with. To be the best have to beat the best so if your team dont ever win why would i want to practice them that simple.

@ OK and your point is!! He's not even a top 10 player and hasn't been in any of the CODs played. Cool his team got 2nd so he's the first loser. He's a consistent top 15 player and has had stents of being in the top 10 but by the end of the year he hasn't held it. Nothing being smoked just look at stats. My main point is does everyone like this top-heavy league with only 3 maybe 4 teams actually being good? If not, you're looking at the exact problem with not having a proper feeder system and teams, not scrimming everyone. If all teams are forced to play each other in scrims, then everyone is getting the same amount of practice which should help raise the bottom line. This is the exact same as the rich get richer and the poor gets absolutely nothing. (not actually referring to money talking about experience)

Rewind isn’t a good map but it’s probably better than Vault SnD and although the pros play it a lot Red Card HP. Red card gets vetoed 99% of the time in ranked, nobody likes it. Protocol and Skyline SnD are both pretty bad too so wouldn’t mind either of them going.

I need to go on a rant about what Optic fans count as an event win and what they dont count.. So Optic fans count Regionals in AW as an event win but in Ghosts when coL won, it doesnt count.. Optic fans count Melbourne as an event win in BO3 when they played in just 2 series and were the only NA team there, if it was any other NA team, Optic fans would say it doesnt count... FaZe won PSX in IW and Optic fans say it doesnt count... Optic fans count homestands in MW as event wins even tho the only 2 they won, FaZe didnt attend either one.. If people count homestands as legit event wins then that minor counts... And lastly, just ask yourself if Crim would count it or not.... This guy counts everything as a win... I am curious to how many legit event wins he has..

Theres been ome major. Theyve had a few series where really they shouldve been at least 2-1 up. Not winning a series this early was highly predictable. If they win one, two, that would be good for them. They will just get better and better, a few of them have gunny better than a lot of the other pros, they just need to bring it together as a team. Theres literally no good north american players who havent already tried and failed in the pro league - would rather see an international team flop than a team of washed up north american flops.

The league could easily force teams to have to play in minimum number of matches (Maps) that every team is required to play against everyone else in between majors. The teams could choose times to play what maps to play and game modes. All that matters is the number of maps played.
