mainly rennick. i went to the unt marching percussion camp where paul rennick was a guest instructor. he gave us a preview of the midi recording for the first two movements of this show. for the record, we were one of the first groups of people to hear it. it was even rennick’s first time hearing it. he explained that his son is heavily into rap and introduced kendrick to him. that is what inspired “vagabond”
