Why doesn't the SCX have a front axle? How do you remove the front wheels from the SCX?

Because the SCX digital system has an "arm" that pushed down a plunger in the guide. So a solid front axle would block that arm. You pop out the hubs that hold are snapped into each side of the front of the chassis.

@@SlotCarNewsOfficial I just bought an analogy SCX F40 Totip. Are they supposed to have front axle bushings? The front axle is all over the place. Factory forget something?

Which is which? Did I miss you telling us which was SCX vs Scalextric ?

this was a video I did to help the designer at Scalextric I was working with to use the design change I suggest in the video to make the chassis bottom less visible. I uploaded this video a few years ago (2019 I think) while I was working for Scalextric but it was hidden from view until now.
